Dan Salveter is an Indiana native who can tell you the day he started walking with Christ as a child. Throughout the years, Dan has learned that we all wrestle with different aspects of living out our Christian faith. A recurring theme that is prevalent in our society is the plight of the homeless. When we see a homeless person on the side of the road? Do we respond or pretend like they are not there? Dan gives thoughtful answers on how we as Christians should respond. The answer is not always easy, but anyone is often one catastrophe away from being in the shoes of someone who is homeless. Dan's heart for seeing the least of these is evident in this podcast.

Caroline Mendez grew up in Wilmington, DE. She went to church and "accepted Jesus" at summer camp to get the free Bible as a child. As a teen, she looked for acceptance and value in multiple relationships and sex. Her grandmother prayed for her for 40 years. Caroline embraced New Age in her teens calling herself the "Empress of the Universe". A false conversion and many wrong turns later left her still searching for meaning in her life. A strong desire to watch The Passion of the Christ and invitation to an Easter service at a church, would bring Caroline to the end of herself and into the arms of Christ. Grandma's prayers were answered.

Anna Vick was strong in her faith from a young age. A mission trip usually helps one grow in their faith, but Anna felt a disconnect with God after returning from Haiti and witnessing extreme poverty. It was difficult for Anna to reconcile in her young mind how God could allow such despair. Anna threw her Bible away and almost threw away her life. God never walked away. Anna did. However, God would confront the enemy within Anna which ended up being herself. A series of events would help Anna identify that enemy. Just as Jesus was crucified and rose again, Anna experienced a spiritual crucifixion in her own life. She continues to triumph in her faith through the new life God intended for her all along.

Narcissus is a character from Greek Mythology. He was a good-looking hunter who caught a glimpse of his reflection in the water. He fell in love with himself. The term that is used often today to describe someone who has an unhealthy relationship with love for themselves at the expense of others is narcissism. Lizz was involved in a relationship with a man who has covert narcissistic personality disorder. The relationship with this man brought Lizz to a point where she lost who she was. Lizz continues to work towards healing in her life to overcome both an emotionally and physically abusive relationship. Lizz has found that sharing her story with others strengthens her healing and helps others who find themselves in a similar situation. Lizz also discusses overcoming an abusive childhood and abandonment.

If you live in the Red Hills of Southwest Georgia, you probably know Russell Deese. If you don't know him, you've probably seen his restored military vehicles around town. Ironically, Russell restores old vehicles that most people would leave in the junkyard. His wife brings new life to stray dogs that are often dumped at trash heaps. Russell and his wife see the value in lives that are left for dead by others. Although Russell's business keeps him busy, his focus is on God's kingdom. We need more men who are willing to humble themselves and follow wherever God leads like Russell does.
