  • The High Cost of Unspoken Thanks: What You're Missing in Your Relationships
    Dec 30 2025

If you're like me you find yourself being more annoyed with the people around you instead of being appreciative. When I agreed to have Dr. Satia on the show I don't think I expected to have such a shift in my thinking of what I can do to combat that.

If you can relate then please join us in this inspiring episode of Rise and Climb as I chat with Dr. Satia, the visionary behind the Thank You Project.

Over 52 weeks, she took on the challenge of sending a heartfelt thank you note to a different coworker each week. Satia opens up about her journey, sharing the life-changing lessons she learned along the way and how expressing gratitude can transform lives.

Discover the profound impact of uplifting others and the personal rewards that come from recognizing the contributions of those around you. Tune in to explore how gratitude can elevate both personal and professional relationships!

Check out this YouTube video Dr. Satia shared with me that puts a nice end cap to the conversation: youtube.com/watch?v=oHv6vTKD6lg

We’re walking through Mark 14 and Philippians 3, asking: Are we really following Jesus, or just living a safe, polished Christian life? From altar calls to personal convictions—like Michael writing a book and Anna stepping into church ministry—we’re processing it all out loud and inviting you to do the same.We talk about convictions, and what it means to move beyond just ‘being a good Christian' and actually live a Christian life or impact!

  • On The Road To WNC For Hurricane Helene Relief Work
    Nov 5 2024

6 days before Michael and I were supposed to head to UT for our first anniversary trip in 3 years the Lord had something else in mind.

Within 12 hours of getting the idea of changing our anniversary plans to going to WNC to help with the hurricane relief efforts God had opened all the doors and even started gently guiding our hearts to accept the call.

We did NOT want to cancel our trip, BUT GOD.

Come along as we journey to WNC. Literally. We are on the road, driving down to serve the wonderful people of Pensacola, NC. Michael shares how the Lord convicted him and my nephew shares how God led him down as well.

Stay tuned because the next episode is debriefing on the way home!

  • Understanding your gifting better: Rise & Climb With Ben Lenz, Author
    Oct 14 2024

A few months ago I was re-reading 1 Corinthians 12 and decided it was time to have author of Navigate and co-author of Walk In Your Gift, Ben Lenz back on the show.

What always stands out is the importance of knowing your strengths and weaknesses and how this can be huge in helping us not compare ourselves to others or feel shame about who we are.

Pardon the mmhmmm's from me, this season of life has been a bit busy and my interviewing skills got a bit rusty. Stick along, I promise it is worth it!
