  • Ep 347 How to Use a Pendulum in Daily Life (Even When You're Busy)
    May 7 2026

What is a pendulum?A pendulum is a weighted object on a string or chain used as a divination tool to help you slow down, get present, and tune into your subconscious wisdom. It can be made from crystal, metal, wood, or even a bead tied to thread...anything weighted works. How does a pendulum work?A pendulum doesn't give you answers from outside yourself. It works by amplifying tiny, unconscious muscle movements in your hand (called the ideomotor effect) that respond to your body's inner knowing. The pendulum reflects what your nervous system already knows. How do you use a pendulum for the first time?Hold the chain steady with your elbow on a flat surface. Get quiet. Place your free hand on your heart or belly. Ask, "Show me a yes" and notice the direction it moves. Then ask, "Show me a no." Practice with low-stakes questions before asking anything important. What does it mean if my pendulum doesn't move?A still pendulum usually means you don't have enough information yet, your body isn't attuned to the question, or you need to ask differently. It's not a "no" necessarily, it's a sign to pause and reapproach. Can you use a pendulum without buying one?Yes. A pendulum can be a necklace you already wear, a bead tied to embroidery thread, or any small weighted object on a string. The tool isn't magic, your presence is.Is using a pendulum "real"?Whether you view it as spiritual or psychological, the pendulum works because it slows you down enough to hear your own inner wisdom. That's the real magic, not the object, but the moment of presence it creates.IN THIS EPISODE:How do you keep a witchy practice alive when life is full and time is short? In this episode of the Stay Magic Podcast, Sara Walka shares one of her favorite tools for everyday magic (the pendulum) and how to actually use it in the middle of real life.If you've ever picked up a pendulum and wondered, "Am I doing this right? Is it really telling me anything?" ...this episode is your permission slip to stop overthinking and start trusting.Sara breaks down what a pendulum really is (and isn't), why it works, and how to use it in tiny, discreet moments throughout your day at the kitchen table, in your car, before a hard conversation, or in line at the school pickup. No big rituals required. Just you, a weighted object, and a moment of presence. This is witchcraft for women who are stretched thin- the busy working witch, the caregiver, the homeschooling mom, the woman juggling aging parents and her own becoming. Because being a witch isn't about doing all the things. It's about harnessing your energy, trusting your inner knowing, and remembering that the tool is just an extension of you.🌙 In this episode, you'll learn:--What a pendulum actually is (and what counts as one)--How to "program" your pendulum for yes/no answers--Why your pendulum might not be moving and what that really means--How to use a pendulum discreetly in your daily life--The biggest misconception about pendulums (and how to release it)--Why being a witch doesn't require any tools at all--How pendulum work can regulate your nervous system🕯 Connect with Sara + The Sisters Enchanted:Website: https://thesistersenchanted.comInstagram: @the_sisters_enchantedYouTube: youtube.com/thesistersenchantedPodcast: Stay Magic Podcast on Spotify + Apple

  • Ep 346: Why Being the "Weird One" Is Your Witchy Superpower (Uranus in Gemini Energy)
    Apr 30 2026

Q: How do you stop hiding your spiritual or witchy interests?Stop trying to be validated. Owning your weird isn't about converting anyone or over-explaining your path, it's about allowing yourself to be unconditionally loved as you are, starting with yourself. When you stop fighting upriver against other people's discomfort, your weirdness stops being a liability and becomes the foundation other women borrow when they're ready to step into their own.In today's episode, I'm talking about something every witchy woman knows in her bones...that flickering moment when your friends, family, or coworkers realize you're "into that stuff" and suddenly the lights start flashing: the weirdo has entered the chat. 🔮With Uranus in Gemini stirring up perspective shifts and a Scorpio Full Moon on the horizon, this is the cosmic moment to stop downplaying your weird and start recognizing it for what it really is: your superpower. If you're the witchy woman who feels like the odd one out in your life, you're also probably the most creative, the most empathetic, the most resourceful, and the best damn critical thinker in the room. And those skills are exactly what the world needs in 2026.This episode is for the woman who's been:🔮 Hiding her tarot deck when family comes over🔮 Apologizing for her interest in astrology🔮 Wondering if she's the only one who feels this way🔮 Ready to stop shrinking and start owning her magic🌙 What we cover in this episode:🔮 The real cost of trying to fit in when you were never meant to🔮 3 hidden strengths of being the "weird one" (and why they translate to leadership)🔮 Why Uranus in Gemini is asking you to embrace your weird right now🔮 How owning your weird becomes a foundation for other women's belonging🔮 Why community healing (not solitary hiding) is the path forward🔮 The connection between weirdness, creativity, and being able to read collective energy🌀 Ready to find your people? The Enchanted Journey Membership is where the witchy, the weird, and the wise are gathering to make magic in their everyday lives. • Ep 345: How to Stay Calm When Everything Goes Wrong (A Witchy Woman's Guide to Nervous System Magic)
    Apr 23 2026

What does it actually look like to be a witchy woman when everything falls apart? In this living room edition of the Stay Magic Podcast, I'm sharing the full story of hosting our first large-scale in-person event in Salem, Massachusetts -- the photographer's car accident, the flat tire on the highway, the last-minute pivots -- and the real magic that carried us through all of it.This episode is a conversation on nervous system regulation, intentional energy, and what it means to CREATE energy instead of just reacting to it. Because that, witchy friend, is the real practice. Not the tarot cards or the candles, but in the way you move through the moments when things don't go as planned. If you've ever wondered what modern witchcraft looks like in real life (especially as a working woman, a mom, a leader, a CEO, a human just trying to stay grounded) this one's for you.🕯️ WHAT WE COVER:- Why witchy women create energy instead of responding to it- How nervous system regulation is the real magic (not a vibe)- The story of our photographer's accident + how we pivoted- The flat-tire moment that could have unraveled everything- Why community and belonging are witchcraft in action- The difference between DOING magic and BEING magic- What 10+ years of spiritual business taught me about leading gatherings✨ MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE:- The Enchanted Journey Membership → [LINK]🔮 ABOUT SARA & THE SISTERS ENCHANTED:I'm Sara, founder of The Sisters Enchanted, where we help women curate confidence through living a life that feels like magic. • Ep 344: Are You Afraid to Be Seen? (That's Your Witch Wound Talking (Aries → Taurus))
    Apr 17 2026

Ever get sweaty palms, splotchy hives, and that tight chest feeling the moment all eyes land on you? That's not nerves, friend...that's your witch wound. As we round out Aries season and cross the threshold into Taurus, Sara is digging into the one fear that quietly costs women more than almost anything else - the fear of being seen. Visibility fear is why brilliant women delete the post, stay silent in the meeting, and tolerate the job, the doctor's appointment, the relationship that isn't quite serving them. It's why some of our community members have been in Enchanted Journey for nine years before they feel ready to unmute on a Zoom call. This episode walks you through the choreography of Aries → Taurus:Aries is the spark, the match, and the God-of-war, center-stage, look-at-me energy that asks you to do the thing. Taurus is the lush velvet and throw-pillows and full-bodied sensual reward that comes after you let your fire shine. Taurus is what's on the other side of your courage! And if you don't let the Aries spark catch? The shadow side of Taurus is waiting, y'all. It's a dry, brittle, cement floor where a garden should be.Sara shares her own near-miss at her wedding (splotchy chest hives and all), a meditation on a sentient spaceship named Demeter, and a reminder that nobody is thinking about you as much as you think they are — because they're all too busy worrying about their own Aries moments. This is a permission slip. A nudge. A loving shove toward the stage. What You'll Learn In This Episode:💚 Why visibility fear is a witch wound pattern, not a personal failing💚 How Aries and Taurus energies work together as a story of courage and reward💚 The actual cost of staying hidden (hint: it's not just missed opportunities)💚 Why the "everyone's watching me" fear is almost always overinflated💚 How to move through visibility fear instead of waiting for it to disappear💚 What community practice does for women still testing the waters of being seenFollow us for more at https://thesistersenchanted.com/Stay Connected🌙 Website: thesistersenchanted.com🌙 Instagram: @the_sisters_enchanted🌙 Podcast: Stay Magic Podcast (Spotify + Apple)🌙 Facebook: /thesistersenchantedThe Sisters Enchanted is celebrating 10 years of helping women live lives that feel like magic!

  • Ep 343: Are You a Procrastinator? That's Your Witch Wound.
    Apr 9 2026

📺 ABOUT THIS EPISODEIf you've ever called yourself a procrastinator - this episode is going to change how you see yourself! After 10 years and thousands of women moving through the Sisters Enchanted community, I can tell you this with confidence: it's not procrastination. It's the witch wound. And Aries season with all that fiery, cardinal, "head down and barrel through" energy has a beautiful (and sometimes brutal) way of showing us exactly where that wound is living. In this episode, we're talking about:-What Aries energy actually is and why it stirs up the witch wound so intensely-The difference between true procrastination and fear-based inaction-Why women in particular struggle to harness that "battering ram" energy-How overwhelming options, fear of rejection, and visibility anxiety keep us stuck-The simple daily orienting practice that bridges your inner world with inspired action-Why your moment of brilliance will go elsewhere if you keep waitingThis is practical, it's magical, and this just might be the permission slip you didn't know you needed.📌 WHAT YOU'LL TAKE AWAY FROM THIS EPISODE-A new understanding of the witch wound as the root of "procrastination"-Why Aries cardinal energy amplifies your fear of starting-How the "battering ram" and "god of war" archetypes are actually spiritual teachers for women-A grounding, repeatable practice to orient yourself toward action-The truth about what happens when you wait for the "right time"🕯️ RESOURCES MENTIONED🌙 The Enchanted Journey Membership ➡️ our online community for witchy women ready to stop procrastinating on their magic: [LINK]📩 Join the Newsletter for seasonal cosmic insights, rituals, and tarot talk ➡️ [LINK]FAQ'sWhat is the witch wound? The witch wound is the ancestral and psychological pattern of fear that keeps women from taking action, being visible, and owning their power, sometimes showing up as what we call "procrastination."Why do women procrastinate? It's rarely actual procrastination. For many women, what looks like procrastination is actually the witch wound in action - a deep fear of visibility, failure, rejection, and being misunderstood that's been passed down through generations. What is Aries energy and what does it have to do with procrastination?Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and brings fiery, action-oriented cardinal energy. This is the kind that sparks big ideas and the urge to begin. But when that inspired energy meets the witch wound, we hesitate, research endlessly, and call ourselves procrastinators instead of recognizing the real block. How do I stop procrastinating on my life?Start by shifting your identity from "I'm a procrastinator" to "I'm someone healing the witch wound." Then use daily orienting practices like connecting with your vision, your word of the year, and how you want to feel, to guide your choices and get moving.

  • Ep 342: 10 Years of The Sisters Enchanted: The Witch Wound That Cost Me the Most
    Apr 2 2026

Ten years, two businesses, and a thousand moments where I smiled when I should have held the line.In this episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on a decade of running the Sisters Enchanted and the witch wound that slowly cost me more time, energy, and money than anything else in my business.

We're talking about confrontation avoidance, space-filling, and peacekeeping at the expense of your own power. And why - if you're a woman who over-explains, over-smiles, and bends yourself into a pretzel so nobody feels bad - this might be your witch wound too.

What Is the Witch Wound? The witch wound is the ancestral and personal pattern of fear that keeps women small. The fear of being seen, fear of speaking up, and fear of confrontation. It shows up in the body, in relationships, and in how we trust ourselves. And...it has very real costs.

    In this episode, I share:

-How Sisters Enchanted started (the messy, non-linear origin story)

-The two specific witch wounds I've been healing for 10 years-Why confrontation avoidance is one of the most expensive patterns a woman can carry

-The "filling space" habit that keeps you managing everyone else's emotions instead of your own-How choice and agency can dissolve resentment and change your trajectory

    Is This Your Witch Wound?

➡️ Do you over-explain yourself after setting a boundary?

➡️ Do you smile and laugh things off when you're actually frustrated?

➡️ Do you fill silence with validation and softening even when you were clear?

➡️ Do you avoid conflict to keep the peace, and then silently pay for it?If yes...this episode is for you.

    Key Takeaways:

✨ Starting before you're ready opens doors that perfectionism keeps closed

✨ Confrontation avoidance has real financial and energetic costs

✨ You don't have to fill every silence

✨ Everybody has choice and agency - their reaction is not your responsibility to manage

✨ The witch wound shows up quietly in the smile, the over-explanation, and the joke you make when you want to hold the ground

  • The Fertility Lie: Ostara and The Witch Wound
    Mar 18 2026

Spring arrives with all its fertile energy, and for a lot of women, it also arrives with something harder to name. That quiet pressure that says you should have bloomed by now. You should have broken ground by now. Everybody else is moving forward and you are stuck.

That pressure has a name. It is the Witch Wound showing up at one of the year's most loaded celebrations.

In this episode, Sara explores what fertility actually means for women at every stage of life -- and why the word itself can carry so much shame, grief, and comparison. She unpacks the toxic positivity trap that tells us if we want something badly enough we can make it happen, and why that message leaves out the most important truth: we don't all have the same compost.

The reframe? Nobody ages out of creation. Fertility is not biology. It is creative life force energy, and it shows up in how you tend what already exists, the wisdom you bring to the people around you, and the quality of presence you bring to your everyday moments.

This episode is for you if Ostara energy has ever felt more like a performance review than a celebration.

    Topics covered in this episode:

    • Why the word fertility triggers Witch Wound energy for midlife women
    • The toxic positivity trap and why wanting something badly enough is not enough
    • Why we don't all grow from the same compost
    • What it actually means to be fertile in art, work, relationships, and conversation
    • Tending what exists versus always having to birth something new
    • Wisdom-keeping as a form of creative fertility
    • Why nobody ages out of creation
