• S2 · E65 | Life by Design: One Season at a Time
    Oct 13 2026

I've been working on something for seven seasons, and today I'm finally telling you about it.

If you've been wondering how to set meaningful goals that alignwith God, how to build a morning routine that actually lasts, or how to stop feeling stuck and start making gaining clarity and moving forward, this episode is for just that.

I walk through the journal and framework that I createdcalled Life by Design: One Season at a Time.

I never set out to create a journal. It just happened.

What began with just the two printed daily sheets, and then asmall bound little Kinko’s journal, turned into something I have now used for seven seasons now and it has transformed my life in a way I didn't see coming.
All it takes is Just One.
One Season, One Goal, One Step, One Day at a Time, to move from feeling stuck, to stepping into each season with greater clarity, confidence and alignment with God.

I'll share the GOAL acronym I use (God-Oriented AlignedLifestyle),

the four movements that I call the Four D's: Discover, Dream, Dare, Depend.

I'll also share the three kinds of goals I think every woman needs to consider that guide you to live intentionally: personal, lifestyle, and achievement goals.

We’ll talk about the power of choosing one faithful stepinstead of trying to change everything in your life all at once
I'll also walk you through what the morning page actually looks like: scripture, gratitude, what God is saying, a truth for the day, and the one step.

    Just one.

Recorded during my travels this from New Jersey, at my son Colin's place so you'll hear the warmth of that in theroom.

This is for the woman with a list of goals and dreams that shehas stopped believing in. For the one who knows there's more and wants to move toward something again.

Rooted in real-life experience and seven seasons of livinglife by design, one season at a time, if you want to dust off your goals and dreams, but can't quite see the path forward, this episode is for you.

Pour your coffee. Light your candle. Come sit with me.

  • S2 · E63 The Morning Room: The Room You Didn't Know You Had
    Sep 29 2026

For four years, I have started my mornings in much the sameway: coffee, a candle, my journal, my Bible and a big white chair. I called it my morning routine. Then, while searching for a name for the community growing around Take Heart, one word kept coming back to me: morning. And I wondered, maybe it isn’t a routine.

    Maybe it’s a room.

In this episode, I’m sharing the story of The Morning Room, the journal entry that first felt like an invitation, and the surprising discovery that a morning room was historically an actual space in a home, designed to receive the early light and prepare for the day. More importantly, we’ll talk about the spiritual room we can create with God before the noisebegins.

Because maybe the point isn’t a perfect morning routine atall.

    Maybe it’s access.

A place where the Potter has access to the clay, where God can meet us, shape us, fill us and prepare us for whatever this seasonholds.

Before the world pours into you, what if you let God pour into you first?
