  • We Got This! Perseverance Is The Name of the Game
    May 24 2024

Today is all about perseverance! No matter what is going on in your life, you got this! There will always be bumps along the way and I share with you the bumps I've encountered recently in this episode, but the most important thing I want you to know is that I never gave up. I kept my eye on the prize and even though these aren't stories about winning a medal or hitting a written goal, they still matter. • The PERFECT Workout Doesn’t Exist
    May 3 2024

The awesome thing about social media is how it connects us with someone many people who have so much knowledge to share with us, but the unfortunate thing is social media can be a place where a lot of people can say they know something, but they’re not experts like they say.

Soooo... Hi! I’m Julie and I’m a certified personal trainer, nutrition coach and women’s fitness specialist, and I can promise you that as a fitness professional there is NO perfect workout.

Every day is different, every body is different, our moods can be different, our hormones are different (ladies- I’ve got a whollleeee episode on that coming soon!) and there is simply no workout that you should do the exact same way every day unless it’s walking.

Studies show that no matter if the exact same person does the exact same workout as someone else, we are probably not going to have the same results.

So what should you do if you don’t know where to start or what to do?

In this episode, I walk you through step by step how to figure out what you like and what’s going to work from you, and how to create a balanced schedule based on your wants and needs.

Check out the episode and let me know what you think! ☺️

  • Love Your Body This Summer, and Always
    Apr 12 2024

I think this is one of the most important episodes I have ever recorded...

If you struggle with body image, the way you talk to yourself, or you criticize yourself when you look in the mirror... you NEED this episode. I've been there. I still deal with the negative talk and the self doubt, the feelings of unworthiness and letting comparison steal my joy in the present. It's not how I want to live my life anymore, and I know you don't want to either.

In this episode, we unpack The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's 10 Ways to Love Your Body article and deep dive into all 10 ways together. One step at a time. Your homework is to pick one of the ways and implement it for a week. Then, pick a new one, and so on. Step by step, your body will thank you. You will begin to heal, and you will LIVE in your body the way you were meant to. I want this more than anything for you and I hope you all love this episode as much as I do.
