In this podcast episode, we talked about drugs and why it's super important for high school students to stay away from them. We discussed how drugs can seriously mess up your health, both mentally and physically. They can cause mental health issues like anxiety and depression, and they can also hurt your body. We also talked about how drugs can be really addictive and mess with your judgment and coordination, making accidents more likely. We touched on how using drugs can impact your school performance and future career opportunities. And finally, we talked about the regrets that can come from experimenting with drugs. The main message here is to make smart choices and take care of yourself to live a happy life without drugs.

1. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA): SAMHSA is a government agency that provides resources for individuals and families affected by substance abuse. They offer a National Helpline at 1-800-662-HELP (4357) that provides referrals to local treatment facilities, support groups, and other resources.
2. National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA): NIDA is a government agency that provides information on drug addiction and treatment. They offer a website with resources for teens and their families, including information on addiction, treatment, and recovery
3. Partnership to End Addiction: This organization provides resources and support for families affected by addiction, including a helpline at 1-855-DRUGFREE (1-855-378-4373) that provides confidential support and guidance
4. SMART Recovery: This is a non-profit organization that offers support groups and resources for individuals struggling with addiction. Their website offers online meetings and resources specifically for teens.
5. Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA): These organizations offer support groups for individuals struggling with addiction. AA is focused on alcohol addiction, while NA is focused on drug addiction. They offer meetings in person and online, as well as resources for teens.
