After two years working in the Lower Mainland, Sarah returned to the Comox Valley in 2001, where she continues to support women’s breast health in her community.

    In this conversation, Sarah draws on both her professional expertise and personal insights to demystify mammograms and breast imaging. She explains the importance of early screening, outlines the different imaging modalities available, and addresses common fears and misconceptions that often prevent women from accessing care.
