Today's episode starts with a unique event that likely raised a few eyebrows. But remember, we serve a sovereign God who sovereignly placed this event at this particular place in our Bibles. So the question is: why? What are we supposed to be learning through this?

Everyone has heard of the feeding of 5,000, but the feeding of 4,000 was miraculous in it's own right. Through this event the disciples were supposed to learn some amazing things about Jesus, but it might not have clicked. This series of events gives us a good reminder to always remember: Jesus is in the boat.

This week's episode completes our journey through the Gospel of Luke. The women who went to the tomb were witnesses to His resurrection. The two disciples on their way out of Jerusalem were witnesses to the resurrection. And now, the rest of the disciples join in on this wonder. Jesus is risen, and that changes everything.

There's so many things that could be said of this event... today we are going to take an apologetic approach. Christian apologetics simply means to give a defense for why we believe what we believe. Christian apologetics could involve using history, philosophy or science in order to make a logical argument defending the faith.
