Faith. Life. Real Talk.

I’m a pastor with a deep passion for teaching God’s Word and helping people discover a meaningful relationship with Christ. But I’m also human—living in the same world you do, facing the same ups and downs.

This space is where faith meets everyday life. I don’t want to ignore the struggles we all face—whether spiritual, emotional, or practical. My hope is to walk alongside you, offering truth, grace, and guidance for both this life and the one to come.

Let’s grow together.

When you’ve hit the end of your rope, you don’t need fancy words. You need something solid to grab onto. We keep walking through Psalm 119 and land on a prayer that shows up in every dark season, every hospital room, every moment where plans collapse: “God, help me.”

We talk candidly about failure, depression, loneliness, and the weight of feeling like nothing is working the way it’s supposed to. From EMS scenes to pastoral conversations, we’ve watched people meet the same wall of desperation and ask the same question: where are you, God? Psalm 119:81–88 gives language to that ache with “How long?” and “Help me,” while still refusing to let go of God’s commands, God’s promise, and God’s salvation.

Then the psalm turns, not by pretending the pain isn’t real, but by remembering what is fixed. Psalm 119:89–96 points to God’s word that stands firm, God’s faithfulness across generations, and the way scripture can keep us alive inside affliction. We also close with Psalm 23, a reminder that the Lord is our shepherd, present in the valley, restoring the soul when we can’t restore ourselves.

If you’re searching for Christian encouragement, biblical hope in suffering, or a simple prayer for anxiety and spiritual burnout, this conversation is for you. Subscribe for more, share it with someone who needs light today, and leave a review to help others find it.

Affliction is one of those words nobody puts on a gratitude list, yet Psalm 119:65-80 puts it right at the center of spiritual growth. We slow down and notice the psalmist’s shocking honesty: before the hardship, he wandered, and the pain became the turning point that brought him back to obedience, trust, and delight in God’s word. If you’ve been searching for meaning in a hard season, this is a Bible study conversation that refuses shallow answers while still holding onto real hope.

We talk about why suffering sometimes follows our own choices, like the prodigal son hitting rock bottom, and why other suffering is simply out of our control. We push back on the popular message that following Jesus guarantees comfort, health, and financial ease, and we name the confusion many people feel when life falls apart anyway. Then we connect the dots through James 1 and Romans 5, where trials shape perseverance, character, and a hope that doesn’t collapse under pressure.

Finally, we take the question where it has to go: the cross. Jesus is not distant from grief, betrayal, or pain. He enters it, carries it, and rises again, giving us a hope that reaches beyond the moment and even beyond death. We also highlight why church community matters, because carrying each other’s burdens is not optional when affliction hits. If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with a friend who’s struggling, and leave a review so more people can find it.

  • Be Strong And Courageous When Change Comes

A leader is gone, the future is unclear, and God doesn’t hand out a step-by-step plan. He tells Joshua something simpler and harder: cross the Jordan, stay faithful to My Word, and be strong and courageous because I am with you. That opening scene in Joshua 1 becomes our lens for leadership, change, and trust when a community stands on the edge of a new season. We talk honestly about why Old Testament promises must be read in context, and why God’s unchanging character still gives real confidence today.

We also bring the conversation home. Our church has 118 years of history, filled with sacrifice, service, and people finding hope in the gospel, and we refuse to treat the next chapter like a victory lap. We name the tension that comes with new methods and unfamiliar roads, then return to what cannot change: God’s presence, obedience, and the mission to invest, build, and multiply so more people come to know Jesus.

Joshua 3 adds a powerful picture of faith in motion: the Ark goes first, the Jordan is at flood stage, and the people have to start walking before they feel “ready.” If you’re facing a transition, a tough decision, or a future you can’t control, this message will help you trade certainty for trust and comfort for calling. Subscribe, share with a friend who needs courage, and leave a review. What “Jordan River” are you standing in front of right now?
