• Stop Killing Your Ego: Yeshua's Inana, Mary Magdalene, and Who Is Doing the Thinking
    Apr 29 2026

Your thoughts can get so loud that they start to feel like “you.” When that happens, we don’t need a new belief or a better argument. We need a clean pivot back to awareness. We start with one question that cuts through mental fog fast: “Who is doing the thinking?” From there, we explore what changes when you stop identifying with every sentence in your head and begin relating to thought from presence instead of from reflex.

We also get honest about the pressure many of us feel right now, the sense that something is squeezing us to grow. We talk about that pressure as inner alchemy, the kind that turns coal into diamond, and why it can push you to re-examine what you’ve called “truth” for years. Along the way, we unpack how language shapes the psyche, how the word “ego” became a battlefield, and why the popular spiritual goal of “ego death” can create an unnecessary inner war.

Then we turn toward an older, more integrated frame: the “I” beneath identity. Using Aramaic-flavored teachings often translated through the sacred phrase Inana, we look at awareness as the real witness, the part of you that can hold grief and joy without splitting into good and bad selves. You’ll leave with a grounded self-inquiry practice and a short closing mantra for receiving, living, and giving love, so you can welcome every part of your experience without losing yourself to it.

If this helped you feel even a little more spacious, subscribe for more, share it with someone who’s stuck in their head, and leave a review so more people can find the practice.

  • Awakening the High Heart and Your Inner Light
    Apr 22 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

You can feel it when something inside you is asking for more truth, more aliveness, more you and it’s not a problem to fix, it’s your inner light trying to breathe. I’m Joya, and I’m talking about what it really means to turn up your light by igniting the sacred heart and awakening the high heart, not as an idea, but as a lived, embodied frequency you can hold in your body.

We start with wholeness and duality: the gifts you carry, the polarities you learn through, and the choice point of alignment. I share a teaching on “human alchemy” and a candle metaphor that lands hard and simple: the outer form isn’t your identity, the flame is. When the inner flame turns on, the invisible becomes visible, and the world around you responds like a conscious field, whether you call it spirit, source, Holy Spirit, or the quantum field.

Then I bring you into honest conversation with Amanda and Nancy about what it took to open into high heart living. We talk heartbreak and grief that crack the heart open, breath and meditation practices that expand your capacity, and the deep relief of self-forgiveness. Nancy shares her grief and experience of a late ADHD diagnosis and what it changes when you stop trying to fit a box and start honoring your real design.

To close, I guide you through an embodiment meditation to ground into Mother Earth, connect to source light, meet your deep self, and breathe love into the high heart so you can carry that frequency into your day. If this resonates, subscribe, share the episode with someone walking through a hard season, and leave a review so more people can find these teachings.

  • Sasquatch, Santa Fe & the High Heart: A Soul Trip About Trust, Embodiment & Living Your Own Light
    Apr 15 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

A cabin at the edge of the Santa Fe Mountains, a girls weekend with no plans, and a tiny Sasquatch statue waiting by the creek set the tone for a conversation about trust, synchronicity, and what it means to actually live inside your own light. I’m fresh back from a soul-filling trip with spiritual girlfriends where we followed the natural rhythm of the day, said yes to what arose, and let the “magic” unfold without forcing it. The deeper lesson wasn’t about travel, it was about embodiment and belonging: being with people who see you clearly can expand your capacity to hold the truth of who you are.

From that lived experience, I unpack the alchemy of divine feminine and divine masculine energy. I name the divine masculine as spirit, ideas, and invisible light, and the divine feminine as Earth, nature, creation, and the body itself. When those energies unify inside us, awakening stops being theoretical and becomes physical, practical, and real. I also share moments from our slow retreat rhythm, including healing work, singing and drumming, prayer, sacred spaces, plant essences, and Mary Magdalene anointing oil, all woven into a reminder that spirituality can be grounded, sensory, and tangible.

Coming home brings the integration: grief, choice points, and the honest recognition that grief doesn’t simply disappear. I talk about the hunger to stay connected to Source and love, and how the “high heart” opens through coherence of the three H’s head, heart, and hara. When we feel safe in our nervous system, intuition becomes easier to trust, signs feel clearer, and love becomes less complicated than we were taught. If you’ve been craving a spiritual reset that lives in your body, this will meet you right where you are.

If this resonates, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs a little light, and leave a review so more listeners can find the show.

  • Your Life Is The Path
    Apr 8 2026

Your body is already telling you the truth, and it’s usually whispering long before your mind can argue with it. We talk about what it means to live as if your life is the spiritual path, not a project you’ll complete someday, but the messy middle you’re standing in right now. When we’re present and operating in coherence, guidance becomes surprisingly simple: expansion feels like a yes, contraction feels like a no. Even when we override that signal, we can treat the “miss” as information instead of judgment, because the falls are still part of the path.

From there, we move into frequency and toleration. As your frequency rises, what you can no longer put up with becomes obvious, and that’s not harshness, it’s love showing up as self-respect. We explore how the creative field mirrors our inner state, how our choices sculpt reality over time, and why conscience matters as much as consciousness when you’re deciding whether you’re reacting or creating. We also name a hard truth with a soft center: compassion without boundaries can drown you, and honoring someone else’s journey is sometimes the most loving thing you can do.

You’ll be guided through a practical visualization that drops you from mind to heart, helps you feel expansion and contraction in the body, and builds spaciousness between stimulus and response so you can choose your next step with intention. If the divine feminine is calling you toward something bigger, we talk about what that pull feels like and why “tests” often appear right before growth. Subscribe for more, share this with a friend who needs steadier clarity, and leave a review telling us what boundary or brave yes you’re practicing next.

  • Turn Up Your Light
    Apr 5 2026

I’m reintroducing my show with a name that landed like a clear instruction: Turn Up Your Light. If you’ve felt the pressure of becoming, the quiet knowing that you’re meant for more, or the exhaustion of trying to “figure yourself out,” this conversation offers a different frame. I’m Reverend Joya, a sound medicine woman, and I’m setting a simple promise from the start: you’ll hear me, in my real human voice, because frequency matters and presence can’t be outsourced.

We move from that foundation into the deeper question that has followed me since childhood: why does a seed carry a complete blueprint for its fullest expression, yet humans doubt their own design? I share the seed metaphor as a way to understand purpose, free will, and spiritual growth without forcing a neat answer. Your life is your spiritual curriculum, and you discover your truest path by walking it, not by demanding the final destination up front. When you choose alignment with love, light, and truth, your system responds with expansion: more clarity, peace, joy, and kindness that doesn’t rely on shame or harm.

Then we get practical about what it really takes to “turn up your light” in daily life, relationships, business, and community. I talk about metacognition, heart opening through forgiveness, and nervous system safety, because insight alone isn’t enough if your body doesn’t feel safe to expand. We end with a Good Friday and resurrection weekend reflection and a simple receiving practice you can do immediately to increase your capacity to accept, receive, and embody more light and love.

Subscribe so you don’t miss new Wednesday releases, share this with someone who needs a reset, and leave a review to help more people find the show. What’s ready to resurrect in you?
