Political freedom is a tremendous blessing, and we're thankful for the liberties we enjoy as Americans. But even in the freest nation on earth, people still struggle with fear, guilt, addiction, anxiety, and sin. Why? Because true freedom is more than the absence of oppression, it is the presence of Christ.

In this special Independence Day episode, we discuss the blessings of living in a free nation while exploring the greater freedom purchased for us through the cross of Jesus Christ. When we pray, should we start with praise… or go straight to our requests?
