  • Friends Who Grow With You
    Dec 9 2025

This episode felt like two old friends pulling out the mental photo album. Amy and I went back to our early days in media, the tiny moments that shaped us, the friendship that held through every move and every life shift. We talked about career transitions and how they push you to grow even when you are scared. We talked about AI changing the industry and why staying curious keeps you alive in this work.

Family came up, culture came up, all the childhood lessons that still pop up when you least expect them. We laughed hard, the kind of laugh you only share with someone who has known your whole story. I said I pitched a strike. She said she wants to be called grandma. And yes, someone named Chirito got a shoutout. Long friendships do that. They wander.

Toward the end we talked about the future. Books we want to write. Projects we want to chase. The kind of ideas you hold close until the timing feels right. The whole conversation reminded me that life moves fast and nothing is promised.

Hold your people close, Stay open to change and Keep building the story you want to live.

  • Saying goodbye to my grandfather, Teto.
    Oct 20 2025

Writing a caption for this post has been one of the most challenging things with an overflow of emotions. Saying goodbye to someone who meant so much to you throughout your entire life never feels real. Teto wasn’t just our grandfather. He was the heartbeat of our family. The calm in every storm. The laugh that made everything better. The man who showed us what love and faith really look like.
He taught us that strength doesn’t always shout. Sometimes it’s quiet. Sometimes it’s a smile. Sometimes it’s just showing up for the people you love.
I’ll miss hearing his laugh and holding his hand, but I know he’s with Mamia again, probably dancing, singing while playing his guitar, and smiling like he always did.
    Siempre tan guapo mi Teto
Always so handsome and forever in our hearts.

  • Learning to let go.
    Oct 8 2025

There’s a moment in life when you realize holding on is what’s been keeping you stuck. I didn’t expect moving out of the area I’ve called home for more than a decade to feel like this. It wasn’t just about leaving a place, it was about leaving versions of myself behind; the people, the moments, even the memories tucked into drawers and camera rolls. Letting go taught me that freedom isn’t about what you keep, it’s about what you’re finally willing to release. I’m still learning who I’m becoming, and maybe that’s the beauty of it.
