Tonight’s episode is very personal… it’s about giving birth. Giving birth to greatness.

I chose to record and post this special message on this Mother’s Day evening to share from one of the most difficult seasons of my life after losing my 23 year old son. Even in the moment of my deepest grief, God reminded me that His purpose for my life still remained, and I was created to birth the greatness He placed within me.

In this episode, I read from Chapter 23 of my book “necessary.” and I shared part of the dedication I wrote to my son.

Life is so short and precious, and it is important that we strive to draw closer to God each and every day.

We cannot continue delaying the greatness, dreams, and assignments God placed inside of us.

At some point, we must stop hiding what God planted within us and give birth to what He entrusted to us.

There are moments in life where something has to change. You can’t keep playing small, underestimating your value, and repeating the same patterns when opposition appears.

You reach a point where you realize you cannot continue responding the same way, thinking the same way, or staying in the same patterns and expect a different outcome.

In this podcast episode, I walk through the reality of repeated cycles and why many people remain stuck in them. I also break down what to do when resistance shows up, how to evaluate your response in those moments, and why your default reaction is often the very thing that can keep you in the same place.

You’ll learn how to pause (freeze), look your patterns, and respond in a way that aligns with who you are becoming rather than who you have been.

We also discuss the importance of recognizing what you were doing before opposition appeared, and how staying aligned with what God has called you to do changes how you interpret resistance altogether. This is how we can be joyful always.

It is too dangerous to seek validation from people when God has already chosen you to uniquely rule over your assignment the way He has instructed for you to do so.

When God chooses you, your identity is not up for debate.

You don’t need approval to dream.
You don’t need permission from others to walk in the authority God gave you.
You don’t need confirmation from people to agree with what God said is possible in your life.

If God said it, then it’s settled.

If God chose you, then it is already done.

Your circumstances do not get to decide what is possible in your life.

God already did.

This is why you must stop looking for validation and start walking in who He already called you to be.

SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINE

Staying rooted in the Word of God, in His presence, and in the authority you’ve been given. Without consistency, we don’t just drift, we begin to forget what we carry and how to stand.

MINDSET AND ENVIRONMENT

How you think, what you’re learning, and who you’re around are shaping your outcomes daily. If your mind is not being renewed and your environment is not sharpening you, your growth can become limited.

PHYSICAL STEWARDSHIP

Taking care of your body so you have the strength, clarity, and capacity to carry what you’ve been called to do. We must give ourselves permission to rest and take care of ourselves… especially the leaders who pour into others while neglecting themselves.

This is about alignment across every area of your life. What you neglect can eventually affect how you lead, how you think, and how you show up.

Dwell in the secret place.

There is a place that God reveals to those who are willing to enter.

A place that is not defined by circumstances, or what is happening around you, but by His presence.

In this place, you are not weak… you are strengthened.

You are not vulnerable… you are covered.

You are not defined by what you are facing… you are anchored in who He is.

This is the place where you begin to see differently, speak differently, and walk with a level of authority that cannot be taken from you.

It is not a distant or unreachable place.

It is the secret place.

The place where you stand with your Father, where fear loses its voice, and where every lie that once tried to define you is exposed.

In this place, what once felt overwhelming no longer has the power to control you.

From this place, you speak with authority… not as someone striving to become, but as one who already belongs.

As co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17), as children of God (Galatians 3:26), you begin to move from a position of identity, not from insecurity.

I encourage you… spend time in the secret place with God.
