In this episode, Steve Harrison shares how he was down and discouraged for several days after he failed to achieve an important goal. He had trouble getting out of his funk. But then God answered his prayer and used an ordinary routine appointment to teach him some important truths we can all use to achieve dreams God's way.

Important confession from Steve: After listening to this episode, I now realize I left out the most important truth of all, so I have decided to add it below:

When you and I feel like "losers" because we haven't achieved something, it is important to remember that at the end of the day our identity is based on what Jesus did for us on the cross. Thanks to Jesus sacrificing his life for us, God sees us as Jesus is: perfect and righteous despite all of our sins, rebellions, failures and stumbles. You and I are never "losers" in God's eyes even when we may be failing to achieve something that is important to us. The truth is, that anyone who has put their faith in Christ is a lucky receiver of God's unmerited love and grace. Jesus is risen. He will shine His light in our darkness and empower us if we simply ask. Why not ask him to come into your life and circumstances right now? He's waiting to be invited. :)
