• Pick up the Penny
    Dec 25 2025

Growing up I would often experience my Dad picking up coins on the ground. He would say 99 more until I have my dollar, or I'm not too good to pick up the penny. My Dad understood that great things happened in small increments; that you did not have to start big to get big.

The intent of setting your mind to something and pursuing it one moment, one decision, one step at a time is extremely powerful.

That's my hope for you as we get ready to close this year and start a GREAT one small decision at a time.

This coming year let's resolve to Pick up the Penny and move towards progress one step at a time.

  • Fill me Up
    Dec 11 2025

Any process of upgrading and optimizing must first starts with an assessment and acknowledgement of what isn't working or serving us, but that assessment is only half the battle, if you empty a space whether it's your mind, your house or your heart of things no longer serving you you've done a a good job but you have not finished the work.

You don't till the ground without a plan to sow new seeds. On today's episode we speak on the danger of emptiness. It's important that when we leave, block, eliminate things in areas of our lives, that we also have a plan for the proper infilling so that we can experience growth, fruit and full wholeness.

There is a danger of ridding ourselves of the wrong things and not replacing it with the right thing; when something is empty there is space and opportunity for ANYTHING to fill it.

Let's dive in and talk about the infilling to the emptying that leads to true wholeness.

  • Let it Grow
    Nov 27 2025

One of my favorite R&B songs is Fantasia's Lose to Win. I would blast this song without truly understanding the depth of the message. She says in one of the verses: If it makes you cry; cry cuz you do is fight, can't get no sleep at night, sometimes you gotta lose to win again. I truly believe this as a principle, and we see it modeled in scriptures, we see it in nature, we see in agriculture. The extent to which you can see things grow is coupled with your willingness to let things go at the right time.

This is our conversation in Episode 5. The challenge to think about what do we need to let go, so that we can let the right things grow; in our relationships, our mindset, our finances, in life.

I hope this encourages you to Let it Grow; but first you have to let it go!

  • Rhythm of Rest
    Oct 30 2025

For many of us DOING is what keeps us living, surviving and sane. We've learned that we can work our way out of most situations. What if there is another way? What if instead of hustle harder or work longer the remedy is actually REST?

I am the product of immigrant parents and so hard work, tenacity, perseverance and resilience seems to be innate to my fabric; but I also believe work/rest rhythm to be just as part of me and I'd dare to say you too. We've become disconnected from rest and more acquainted with other practices.

On today's episode we explore that you can't just work or power through healing and wholeness. If you're going to work through Wholë Shxt long term, rest has to be a part of the plan.

  • In -N- Out
    Oct 16 2025

I've heard it said; find your YES and your yes will guide your NOs and honestly I couldn't agree more. If you know what you are aiming for, you know what you cannot afford to do along the way. Now that much is easier said than done. On today's episode we begin to dialogue around the In and Out of healing. Understand that when you make the resolve to walk into more of your healing and wholeness therein also lies a requirement out of some things. There is a cost that must be paid. The things we are called out of are often things we may want to hold on to or preserve but eventually we have to do the hard thing so that we can experience the God thing. There is no IN to wholeness without a decision OUT of the toxic, the familiar, or even the good but not necessarily what we were made for.

Dive into this week's episode with some challenge but also some encouragement as we return to yourselves!

  • Talk Yo' Shxt
    Oct 3 2025

Some say what you don't reveal you don't heal, yet many of us grew up in contexts where open conversation about most things were not always welcomed. On today's episode we dive into a multilayered conversation about the value of creating space for talkin’ Shxt out within our families and our cultures as a wholeness practice and the cost and risk of when we do not.

Today, I hope you'll be encouraged to start to Talk Yo’ Shxt out in efforts to return to our WHOLË selves and fostering a safe spaces where conversations are more common than silence, secrets and trauma.

  • Already but not Yet
    Sep 17 2025

On today's episode, we chat about the state of being in two places at once. Sometimes that feels frustrating, but I'd like to propose that it can provide peace and encouragement for where we are and what is ahead. When you are grounded in the belief that you are not broken, the process of acquainting more with your healed and whole self is an adventure rather than a burden. Being already WHOLE while not yet experiencing all the WHOLE parts of you is a treasure hunt I hope you're encouraged to take through this episode.
