Wer solche Freunde hat (2). Rückblenden zeigen, wie Brooklynn mit ihrer Begleiterin im Senegal ankommt. Dort treffen sie sich mit Lang, auf dessen Schiff die Dinosaurier geschmuggelt wurden, und Dr. Sarr, der vor Ort ein Klonprogramm überwacht. Brooklynn riskiert alles, um Beweise zu sammeln und ihre Freunde aus einer bedrohlichen Lage zu befreien. Zudem gelingt es ihr, sich das Vertrauen ihrer Gefährtin zu sichern. Ein großer Vernichtungsplan wird enthüllt. Wieder vereint. Kenji macht Ben Vorwürfe, weil dieser den anderen Brooklynns Überleben verheimlicht hat.

Eine lange Nacht. Yaz kommt zu sich und erkennt, dass sie in einer verzwickten Lage steckt. Versehentlich macht sie einen Dinosaurier auf sich aufmerksam. Ein Fluchtversuch misslingt. Ihre Freunde suchen währenddessen verzweifelt nach der Vermissten und sind sich uneins über das weitere Vorgehen. Trümmerteile des Frachtschiffes tauchen auf. Parallel versucht Brooklynn, Ben zu erreichen, um ihn vor einer in den Senegal reisenden Besucherin zu warnen. Wer solche Freunde hat (1). Als die Freunde aus dem Camp Kreidezeit den Fluss verlassen, stoßen sie auf eine geheimnisvolle Hühnerfarm.

Im Nebel. Sammy und Yasmina verfolgen immer noch den Truck, auf dem auch Ben mit Bumpy sitzt, die sich allerdings sehr merkwürdig verhält, was Ben große Sorgen macht. Sammy und Yasmina unterhalten sich darüber, dass sie trotz allen Stresses nur als Team funktionieren können, und wer hätte das gedacht? So ist es! Kein Zurück mehr. Was für ein Schock. Cabrera steckt hinter dem illegalen Handel mit Dinosauriern. Unsere Helden befreien sich aus der misslichen Lage und fliehen zwischen die Container.

In jener Nacht. Sammy, Yas und Ben sind samt Van ins Wasser gefallen und kämpfen darum, da wieder herauszukommen. Dummerweise kämpft der Allosaurus gleichzeitig um sein Leben, was das Herauskommen nicht gerade leichter macht. Aber weil unsere Helden nun mal unsere Helden sind, schaffen sie es letztendlich natürlich. Sie beschließen dann noch, dass sie als Geisterfahrer auf dem Truck mitfahren, um herauszufinden, wer für das alles verantwortlich ist.

Rehabilitation. Unsere Helden haben sich in der letzten Folge ja aufgeteilt. Ben und Sammy sind auf dem Weg zu Yaz und machen Halt in einem Mini-Vergnügungspark beim "König der Dinos" Bobby Nublar. Die beiden befreien die Dinos, die Bobby gefangen hält und Touris präsentiert. Sie meistern wie immer die gefährliche Situation und am Ende ruft Bobby seinen Auftraggeber an – wer das ist, werden wir an anderer Stelle herausfinden.

Nachbeben.Wer hätte das gedacht? Wir sehen unsere Helden doch wieder! Na ja, wahrscheinlich doch nicht alle, denn wie sich in dieser Folge herausstellt, soll Brooklynn gestorben sein! Aber der Reihe nach. Am Anfang sehen wir, wie ein sehr erwachsen gewordener Darius einem Team des DPW, des Dezernat für prähistorische Wildtiere, in einer nicht so richtig bedrohlichen Situation hilft. Anschließend taucht, oh Wunder, ein anderer Dinosaurier auf, den Darius sofort erkennt, ihm, respektive ihr hinterherfährt, es aber nicht schafft, ihn, respektive sie zu betäuben.

"Der Kern": Yaz ist bereit, Sammy die Wahrheit zu sagen. Die Insel hat jedoch andere Pläne. Darius fühlt sich hin- und hergerissen und befürchtet, dass er sich verrannt hat. "Wahre Freundschaft": Die Freunde müssen schnell eine Lösung finden, um Mr. Kon und sein Gefolge auszutricksen. Ben will eine alte Freundin retten und bekommt überraschend Hilfe.
