In September 2016, the provocative essay "The Flight 93 Election" galvanized many voters by spotlighting the stakes ahead in November and reproaching complacent elements of the Right. The City of the Sun, published in Italian in 1602 as La città del sole, is a philosophical work by the Dominican philosopher Tommaso Campanella. It is an important utopian work, was inspired by Plato's Republic, and describes a theocratic society where goods, women, and children are held in common.

Das Manifest der Kommunistischen Partei wurde in mehr als 100 Sprachen übersetzt. Im Juni 2013 wurde es in das UNESCO-Dokumentenerbe aufgenommen.

Ispirata dalle utopie politiche di Tommaso Moro e Platone, nella "Città del Sole" Campanella immagina una repubblica "naturale", condotta da un re-sacerdote e da tre magistrati.
