A.B. Simpson, the founder of an Evangelical Protestant denomination, the Christian and Missionary Alliance, remains a popular author among all Christian denominations. His book Danger Lines in the Deeper Life explores some of the conflicts that Christians encounter in trying to maintain a spiritual life, with reference to the book of Judges.
