Known as the "Big Book", the basic text of Alcoholics Anonymous has helped millions of people worldwide get and stay sober since the first edition appeared in 1939. Our goal will be to demystify what AA is like especially if you’re a younger person struggling with drink. Within this podcast we will reveal what it's like to be in AA meeting by inviting an amazing young person who has got sober within AA to share their story. We’ll also have a discussions about the unique challenge younger people in AA face and show how we overcame these hurdles with the help of the vibrant community of sober recovering alcoholics in AA. Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other, so that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. AA On Air is a forty five minute radio broadcast airing every four weeks on Saturday at 10.15am.
