Milo verirrt sich jedoch und landet in der sogenannten Teufelskirche, einer Felsformation mit großem Steindach. Hier scheinen Höhlengeister zu wohnen. Es dauert eine Weile, ehe der Fuchs und seine Freunde merken, dass die „Höhlengeister“ in Wirklichkeit zwei junge Bären sind, die sich im Dunkeln und mit hallenden Stimmen einen Spaß mit den Freunden machen.

Auf ihrer Tournee mit Ashok, dem weißen Tiger, geraten die Freunde in Seenot von Bord ihres Schiffes geschleudert. Auch Ashok landet im Wasser. Von Nepal wandern Fabi und seine Freunde über den Himalaya nach Indien. Im höchsten Gebirge der Welt ist es noch kälter als in der Arktis, weshalb sie schnell ins Tal müssen. Doch bei der temporeichen Schlittenfahrt verletzt sich Hendrix. In der Arztpraxis von Stier Nan kann der Musiker Dachs geheilt werden. Als Dank helfen die Blaubeerwaldbewohner und Milo bei der Heilkräuter-Ernte und beim Transport von Medizin. Dabei lernen sie bedrohte Tierarten kennen und treffen Ashok, eine weiße Tigerin, die kurz davor ist, auf Welttournee zu gehen.
