Conni ist sauer, weil Anna den letzten Platz auf dem Reiterhof geschnappt hat. Dann fährt Conni eben woanders hin – allein! Doch auf dem Pferdeflüsterhof wird ganz anders geritten, als sie es kennt. Die Jungs mag sie nicht und die Mädchen sind nicht in ihrem Alter. Und dann bekommt sie auch noch Danny, das größte Pferd überhaupt! Da erhält die Ranchbesitzerin Olivia einen Anruf. Ein verängstigtes Mini-Shetlandpony wurde in der Pferdeklappe abgegeben!

Conni sagt Stopp! Nein heißt Nein! Aber es ist nicht immer leicht, Stopp zu sagen. Conni und ihre Freundinnen und Freunde üben, Grenzen zu setzen und anderen gegenüber klar zu kommunizieren, wenn sie etwas nicht mögen: gekitzelt oder geknuddelt werden oder Nachschlag beim Essen, zum Beispiel. Nur sie allein dürfen über ihren Körper bestimmen. Es ist wichtig, deutlich „Halt, Stopp!" zu sagen und zu verstehen, dass ein Nein von allen akzeptiert werden muss. Der Kakao eck, der sich auf der Tischdecke ausbreitet, macht ihr nichts aus. Sogar in den Kindergarten geht Conni alleine. Na gut, Papa ist dabei und passt auf. Und an den Kita-Rucksack denkt er zum Glück auch! Conni ndet heraus, was sie alles eigenständig oder mit ein wenig Hilfe schafft, und dass es gar nicht schlimm ist, wenn Dinge trotzdem auch mal schiefgehen.
