When an accident kicks Sean Lawrence forward in time, he finds himself square in the apocalyptic end-times. As he works with Coldbrook residents to build up its defenses, he's getting help from unexpected places.

Arthur's finally finding his place in the demon world. He has his own tea shop in a city that accepts him and a family that he's beginning to call his own. But when Milo's father sends word that he's returned from his latest expedition, Arthur is faced with an impossible choice. He could stay in the city and live his peaceful life, or he could go with Milo to the edges of the known world.

After a time skip to the apocalypse left Sean Lawrence scrapping with everything from superhero rabbits to giant lightning gods, he upped the ante and forced the issue himself, diving out of the frying pan and straight into the risking-everything-to-save the world fire. Now, he's racing against the young elites of the universe through killer dodgeball matches, arenas filled with armored snakes, and glitchy, system-breaking, vision quests. His answer to it all? Stab anything that gets in his way with the finest cobbled-together garbage he manages to lay his increasingly grubby hands on.

Arthur didn't plan on being reincarnated into a world full of demons. But after the initial misunderstandings were cleared away, he found himself exactly where he wanted to be: in a world that was nice. It doesn't take long before a community of friendly demons forms around Arthur, helping him find his place in this new world. With each bubble that rises in his tea, Arthur rises too—learning to love, to belong, and to truly live for the first time in two lifetimes.

When Sean is called upon to enter a Nebula Challenge to save his new home, he doesn't exactly leap into the opportunity. But knowing that he's humanity's best chance at salvation and with loose ends to tie up in terms of Eike's dad, he chooses to once again go into the chaos with Aggi and Jeff. Instead of a simple challenge that he can understand, Sean finds himself caught in the rapid deterioration of the system as he knew it.

When Matt was first sent to Gaia—a lifeless garden planet that had been consumed by system meddling—his only goal was to stay alive. Through a combination of grit, ingenuity, and a lot of help from his guardian, Lucy, he's managed to not only survive the worst but also thrive in a way that's revived the original Gaians. Now, others need Matt's help as well. He once had a choice between Gaia and Ra'Zor, also known as the "Realm of One Thousand Bleedings."

The hero beat the villain and won the prize. But things aren't good, not yet. After committing a few small-scale war crimes that were definitely not OSHA-approved, Sean Lawrence came out on top in the battle for the heart of the earth. He was promised a nice place in which to exist, but instead he got death. He was promised, in all ways, good. But what he has, in all ways, is bad. He's made the best of it though. Aided by his system guardian, Lucy, and the dungeon system itself, Barry, Matt began to build a life for himself. He's getting pretty good at surviving in a place where nothing else is alive. But surviving isn't all there is.
