ఆధ్యాత్మిక నవలలు చాలా అరుదు గా వస్తుంటాయి. చాలా వరకు ఆధ్యాత్మిక నవలల్లో ఎక్కువగా బోధనలు ఉంటాయి కానీ ఆచరణకు సులువైన పలుకులు తక్కువ. కానీ మల్లాది రాసిన ఈ 'జయం' అనే ఆధ్యాత్మిక నవల అతి సులువుగా అందరికీ అర్ధం అయ్యే విషయాలని బోధించడం తో పాటు ఆచరణకు నోచుకొనేందుకు చాలా విషయాలని నేర్పిస్తుంది.
