Empathy is the ability to feel what others are feeling. In people who don't know they are deeply empathetic, it is often mistaken as having a bad day, or just feeling unexpectedly happy, sad and even angry. It is an innate gift that humans are born with but often lose sight of as we age and most people are empathetic without realizing it.As an empath, daily affirmations are a part of our lives and each chapter will begin with an inspirational affirmation directly related to empathy. Empaths share common traits, but many have something unique that separates them from the rest.

Our minds are rebellious. The mind exists as though it has a mind of its own. Once you try to control the mind, it repels our efforts in ways that we cannot understand. Consequently, through meditation, this can be solved. Looking at the bigger picture, meditation not only helps in learning how to control the mind. It also assists in helping people take control of their lives. Frankly, we all seek happiness in this life. However, we are often confused with the direction that we ought to take. This happens because there is a lot that we have to deal with.

Jennifer was born in 1997, when the consumer society had reached a golden age. She was born in a city that was being built on top of a valley that was a beautiful example of the gifts that Mother Nature presented to us. Jennifer's father had become addicted to heroin, while Jennifer's mother was struggling to make enough money to survive since she worked a retail job that only paid minimum wage.
