Jo Raquel Tejada Welch (September 5, 1940-February 15, 2023), an American actress, first gained attention for her role in Fantastic Voyage (1966) and One Million Years B.C. (1966). Though Welch had only three lines of dialogue in the latter film, images of her in a doe-skin bikini became bestselling posters that turned her into an international sex symbol. Through her portrayal of strong female characters, Welch developed a unique film persona that made her an icon of the 1960s and 1970s. The following recordings include tv interviews from 1968, and two from the 1970s.
