Alton Hardin is a #1 Amazon best-selling author and the founder of Alton Teaches LLC, where he has taught over 250,000 students worldwide through his online poker and IT education platforms. He has sold over 90,000 copies of his poker books globally, including the perennial best-seller Essential Poker Math, and is the creator of MicroGrinder Poker School, dedicated to helping beginning and struggling poker players master the fundamentals. Beyond poker education, Alton brings over 20 years of information technology experience to his teaching, including 12 years as a Cybersecurity Specialist at the United States Department of the Treasury, where he specialized in governance, risk, and compliance. He holds an MBA in Information Assurance and Security Management, an MS in Information Technology Network Management, and professional certifications including CISSP, Security+, Network+, and eJPT.
