Stephanie is a zealot for building relationships that build business. In addition to writing books and papers, and hosting the podcast, Stephanie is a senior issue-management consultant and president of an Indianapolis-based strategy firm, where she leverages her 30+ years of deep expertise honed in pressure-intense private and public organizations. Stephanie has served in strategic capacities and leadership roles in the energy, healthcare, government, and finance industries. Stephanie has received numerous awards for the outcomes of her work, and commendations from state and industry leaders. In addition to being an author, she is an accredited public-relations professional, former university instructor, and certified crisis-communication professional. She holds her master-of-science degree in communication management from Syracuse University in New York, and her accreditation in public relations through the Public Relations Society of America. She is also trained in public-dispute management via Harvard University, incident crisis-communication management with the National Safety Transportation Board, and FEMA incident communication leadership. Outside of her career interests, Stephanie is a ski instructor on the weekends from December through March -- where she teaches nearly 200 people to ski each season. She loves to paddle board in the summer, garden and spend time with family and her two herding dogs Jock and Augie.
