Tanya M Smith writes spellbinding, magical mystery fiction with midlife characters who discover it's never too late for a new chapter in life.
After a career in marketing and copywriting, Tanya finally gave in to the pull she'd felt for years and began writing fiction, first under her pen names, publishing dozens of novels including nineteen popular Victorian sagas. She now writes full-time under her own name, and The Witches of Blackwell, her series about a midlife heroine who inherits far more than a rambling old house, is the first of several planned series.
Tanya lives in rural Pembrokeshire, the wild and beautiful corner of Wales that inspired the fictional town of Blackwell, where ancient woodlands and rugged seascapes make it easy to believe there's a little magic in the air. When she's not writing, you'll find her walking her dogs, pottering in the garden, drinking far too much tea, and slowly getting to grips with crochet (yes, the dogs are alarmed at the idea of crocheted dog coats).
