Story
It's not you; it's your schedule. Does it sound like magic? It's not. We've all heard of circadian rhythms - those biological processes that give us jet lag and make us night owls or early birds. But few of us know just how profoundly these diurnal patterns affect our overall health. Bad habits - like skipping meals, squeezing in workouts, working late into the night and then trying to catch up on sleep during the weekend - disrupt our natural cycles. A growing body of research on chronobiology reveals just how sensitive the human body is to these rhythms all the way down to the genetic level.

Publisher's Summary
Discover the Ancient Science of Health, Vitality, and Happiness
The most enduring science of healing is founded on the principle of achieving balance between our body, mind, spirit, and environment. This science is called Ayurveda - a comprehensive approach to health and wellness that has been refined for 5,000 years. With Ayurvedic Wellness, Dr. Suhas Kshirsagar presents an in-depth audio training program in the principles and practices of the "science of life."
In this six-session course, Dr. Kshirsagar offers practical instruction in cornerstone principles of Ayurveda - including diet, exercise, breathing, and meditation - to balance, heal, and transform your life.
Essential Tools for Self-Discovery and Self-Care
Ayurveda recognizes our lives as an integral whole, in which mind, body, and spirit are in constant communication. Dr. Kshirsagar teaches you the foundational tools of self-awareness to deepen your understanding of how every experience and decision in your life impacts your overall health. As you progress, surprising connections will emerge - you may suddenly recognize a link between your sleep habits and mood, discover how music affects your digestion, or reveal the emotional source behind unhealthy food cravings. Ayurveda gives you the means to clarify your personal health needs and create a wellness plan that is right for you. "In Ayurveda, well-being stems from awareness of one's own mind and body", teaches Dr. Kshirsagar. Now you can learn the key principles of this life-changing science for health, happiness, and self-discovery with Ayurvedic Wellness.

All you need to know!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
For a summary, listen chapter 50 (7 minutes). That's all you need to know! The rest is related to how to implement it :)
Any additional comments?
Wonderful book on how to live a healthy and happy life. I have just finished it, but it is doubtless one of those books that you want to review because the next time I am sure I will get something else out of it. I gave 4 stars to the performance because accent was a bit difficult at first, but once I got used to it, it was just perfect. I understand why the author wanted to read it himself: emphasis is always well placed. The author made available the book in pdf through the web, info is at the end of the audio (just listen to the last minute). I wish I had known it beforehand or it was as an additional material in Audible; I guess it would be more profitable if you both listen to and later review somethings. But maybe it is just me who doesn't get along with the clips... It would be wonderful to have a Kindle companion for this book.

I like the way this book did not just describe Ayurveda but it showed how it is directly linked to our state of mind. The author guides you though proper thinking processes to achieve the habits necessary for each Dosha type. Everything is clearly described! I especially love the spiritual aspect of it. Many books on Ayurveda neglect or do not give enough importance to the spiritual link to Ayurveda. I enjoyed this book and will listen again! I do recommend to anyone interested in Ayurveda.
