Wonderful introduction to MBSR

Jon Kabat Zinn provides the perfect union of Eastern and Western philosophies of mindfulness, based on research , and gives us a way to be mindful of every moment we have. narrated wonderfully.

deserves another listen

it's a book that needs to be repeatedly listened along with actual application. the original book is longer and detailed. but I liked this version as it contains the gist of every chapter.

A truly no-non-sense book

I liked the lack of any pretense and a clear serious voice of the audio. Good that the author himself read it out to us. I feel motivated to take up mindfulness meditation on a daily basis after listening to this.

Also that the audio book is edited and tailored to be one. This is not a verbatim reading out of the original book. It is actually challenging to do both - to edit the book as an audio book and to read it out impactfully. I look forward to get hold of the CDs mentioned in the original non-audio book now.
