Listen Again and Again!

I really enjoyed listening to this book and have already heard it read through twice. I own the print edition and love the beautiful artwork it contains but reading through it on my own has been challenging. I'm able to play this audiobook and listen while doing other things, allowing me to absorb it's information throughout my day. I highly recommend this book and I'm looking forward to my next purchase of the sequel "Light Emerging."

Have you listened to any of Susan Denaker’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No I haven't, though I do find her voice comforting making it easy to listen along. Now I'm going to investigate what her other performances are!

What did you learn from Hands of Light that you would use in your daily life?

That I shouldn't be selfish by keeping this book's valuable treasure all to myself. Ordered two hard copies to send off a couple family members. Whom not only would LOVE context, but a most perfect time to enter their current life.

Worth the Credit or $ that is if in this lifetime your on a path of spiritual enlightenment. Does help having some knowledge about she elaborates throughout her wonderful book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Hands of Light?

There are many memorable moments in this book, but I particularly appreciate and enjoy how well the author describes the flow of energy and includes illuminating images of how the energy appears during different forms of disease/disorders/emotions/etc. I REALLY appreciate this book because, as someone who has yet to see the human energy field, I feel like I have already acquired many images of it. Thank you!

Have you listened to any of Susan Denaker’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, I have not. Though, she is probably the best narrator I've heard on Audible thus far. She reads as if it's her own book. I actually looked to see whether the narrator and the author were one in the same -- I was shocked to see that they aren't! Excellent, easy, natural, and authoritative narration. Great job, Susan~~

What did you learn from Hands of Light that you would use in your daily life?

EVERYTHING. I don't even know where to begin. I'll leave you with an analogy. After listening to this book carefully, I feel like I know my body in the way that a person who studies their driver's manual knows his/her car intimately. This book should be mandatory reading for everyone because it BASICALLY informs us about the bodies we have been given.

Couldn't Make It Thru the First 3 Chapters

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narrator had a put on "actor's" voice. It started to get grating by the 2nd chapter. Her enunciation and pronunciation was annoying to me and not natural at all.

Have I missed something?! Why does this audio book receive such glowing reviews when I could barely make it through the 2nd chapter, let alone the 4th? The first 3 or 4 chapters were spent telling us what to expect from the rest of the audio book. I kept thinking,
'Come on already, would you just start?!" I finally had to call it quits because it started to really get on my nerves. The narrator became annoying, too. She was an "emoter", the worst kind of voice for me to listen to, not like a normal person speaking at all. I moved on to something by Brene Brown that was so much more natural and interesting.

Awesome guide to chakras & auras too.

So much more than I expected. Narrator has a nice tempo and matches the subject matter nicely. Ms. Brennan seems to be truly gifted and I'd love to meet her.

A discovery of the essence of oneself.

The book helped me to discover that I indeed had the gift to help others heal themselves. I realize that there is still much for me to learn before attempting to help others. The book set me on the right path. Thank you.

This is a how to on energy healing

This is an amazing book. It is for the person who wants to be an energy healer and or medical intuitive. It's not a book you read cover to cover and just become an energy healer. It is a book to study and work through. I think it's best to study with a teacher in order to get the most out of this book.
