Good, but not great

I have read a few beginner books before this and I feel this work is partly good, but partly not. What I enjoyed were the accounts of various folk magical traditions- you don’t find those in many books.

But, what I also felt was that the author word drops a lot, without giving proper explanations for the practices she mentions.

If you are a complete beginner, you may need to read some other book first and then pick this one up.

Narrator has done a great job.
