I picked this up on a whim. It was a novella so the story was not as detailed as I usually like. It felt like some parts were rushed & even some essential parts that complete a story were left out. The audiobook was an hour or so long so it was a quick listen while travelling to & from work. The audiobook was like a movie but without the visual part. I dont know if I am explaining this properly but it was like a movie is playing in the background but you are only listening to its audio while doing some other work. No narration. Only dialogues & other sounds which are happening in our surroundings. It was something new. As it was so short I cant really say I absolutely loved it or hated it. It was ok. Maybe if this format was used for a longer book, I might have enjoyed it more. Overall it wasnt the worst book but it wasnt that great either so somewhere in the middle for me. The skeleton of a good story is there but it just needed to be fleshed out more.
