  • New Motherhood and the Covenant Path with Kati Weber Bailey
    Feb 13 2026

President Dallin H. Oaks once shared the profound impact women had on his discipleship: "I am a product of the teaching of women... The most important teachers that I've had in the area of Church doctrine and service and family responsibilities—ranking right up there with the prophets of the Church—have been women."

The influence of a righteous woman is a gift that blesses every soul it touches. In this episode, we are privileged to learn from Kati Bailey. Kati is a 'doer of the word,' consistently striving to fortify her faith in Christ. She is a devoted wife to Carson, a brand-new mother, and someone who listens and observes others' needs. She is a hard worker and a joy visit with.

Note: Kati is married to Caralee's son, Carson. You can catch his story in Episode 6.

Kati grew up in Lindon, Utah, as the only daughter in a family of six boys. Growing up, she enjoyed running, skiing, mountain biking, sports, and just about anything that involved being outside. She met her husband, Carson, thanks to a church talk, a torn hip flexor, and the help of both their moms. Kati attended BYU, where she graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. Recently, Kati and Carson welcomed a baby boy to their family. Kati now has the privilege of being home with him, and he brings so much joy into her life.

  • Allowing Christ In with Nate Foutz
    Jan 13 2026

President Dallin H. Oaks recently taught, "It is vital that Latter-day Saints do not lose their understanding of the purpose of marriage and the value of children."

Our guest for this episode is Nate Foutz. As a young father, he understands the purpose of marriage and the value of children. He and his wife, Kate, are helping their children grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.

This last year brought heartache to Nate and his family as they mourned the passing of his mom, Margriet. Nate's faith in our Father's Plan is evident as he shares his tender feelings for his mom and their continued relationship. We know you will enjoy listening to Nate share his love for family and fatherhood in this episode.

Nate Foutz grew up in Mapleton, Utah, as the third of five siblings. His parents made sure they all had opportunities to explore music, reading, sports, and youth groups. Most importantly, they were taught to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Nate served as a missionary in the coastal areas of Virginia and North Carolina. In 2017, he married Kate Elsey. After graduating from BYU with a degree in English Language, he spent a couple of years as a teacher: first teaching English as a Second Language, and then teaching Seminary part-time. He is now working in the software industry. Currently, his greatest accomplishment is working with Kate to keep their three young children alive, well-fed, and relatively happy. Together, the Foutz family enjoys taking walks, reading, camping, movies, music, and racing each other in Mario Kart.

  • Who We Are and Who We Can Become with Breanna Pennock
    Dec 31 2025

In the October 2025 general conference, Sister J. Anette Dennis said, "Christlike treatment of others goes far beyond our families and congregations. It includes our sisters and brothers of other faiths or no faith at all. It includes our brothers and sisters from other countries and cultures, as well as those of different political persuasions. We are all part of the family of God, and He loves all His children. He desires that His children love Him and also one another."

Breanna Pennock grew up in an energetic family that taught her to love all of God's children. She has channeled that energy toward expressing love to our brothers and sisters throughout the world.

Breanna grew up in Lindon, Utah, and started her college journey playing soccer at BYU–Hawaii, where she spent every spare moment surfing, hiking, and exploring the island. After serving a mission in Portugal, Breanna transferred to BYU in Provo to study accounting and discovered a love for strategic problem-solving and business.

Now, she's the Chief Strategy Officer at HXP—an international nonprofit that leads humanitarian trips across the globe for thousands of youth. It's fast-paced, meaningful, and never dull. Outside of work, Breanna invests in real estate, loves staying active, and is always on the lookout for her next adventure.

So far, Breanna has visited over 40 countries, bungee jumped in New Zealand, and completed two five-day wilderness survival competitions in Maine. Her main joy comes from spending Saturdays at the Orem temple as a temple worker. She's been doing that for 5 years now at both the Orem and Provo temples, and she loves every minute of it. Breanna is grateful for her time with God and for seeing His miracles in her life every day.
