  • How to Raise Omni-Eaters & Deter Picky Eating Habits
    Jul 18 2024

Has this momprenuer discovered "the secret sauce" to helping parents raise adventurous eaters while deterring picky eating habits? Listen in to decide for yourself!

Did you know the sooner we expose our kids to a wider variety of flavors, the less likely they are to develop picky eating habits? But sadly typical American "kid food" culture only represents sweet, salty and fatty—leaving most kids unfamiliar with the bitter, sour and umami—flavor profiles that exist in so many nutrient rich vegetables and other whole foods.

Jill Weissman, mom and founder of Beyond the Bib, is on a mission to help expand children's palates early in life with nutrient dense, savory sauces the whole family can enjoy, made with ONLY pure, whole, clean ingredients.

But WHY do we need another sauce company, you might be wondering? Jill, who previously sourced ingredients for a very well-known organic baby-food company, tells us EXACTLY WHY and HOW her approach can help us raise "omni-eaters" in our candid, mom to mom convo. If you have kids at home, this episode is a must.

After listening you’ll walk away knowing more about:

    • How sauces can be used as a tool to expand children's palates and teach them to enjoy different flavor profiles
    • Jill’s take on a some controversial topics in our current kid-food culture
    • What ingredients to watch out for and avoid in store bought sauces
    • What makes Beyond the Bib different from all other store bought sauce
    • Jill’s top tips for starting your own food brand & her biggest challenges
    • The journey from kitchen testing to mass production

  • Eat These 3 "Letter C Veggies" for Gut Health & Whole Health
    May 2 2024

Many veggies start with "C" but these 3 are VIV (very important vegetables) for gut health and today I'm sharing WHY and HOW to help your fam learn to love 'em!

Today, our SPOTLIGHT vegetables starting with the letter C are:

    1. Cauliflower
    2. Cabbage
    3. Chard

We chose the two cruciferous veggies—cauliflower and cabbage—since they are uniquely powerful when it comes to promoting gut health. You see, these guys are rich in fiber, contain anti-inflammatory compounds, support detoxification, and contain vitamins and minerals crucial for maintaining a healthy gut lining and supporting digestive processes.

We're also throwing chard a lotta LOVE. Chard is this epic but underused green that's a great "gateway" green to help kids move beyond spinach and start enjoying more greens because it's softer and less bitter than most kale.

GREENS are like the GOLD of vegetables for too many reasons to count. Packed with phytonutrients, essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, they support overall whole health, boost immunity, aid digestion, and reduce the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease and cancer. They're also high in fiber, making them great for promoting a healthy gut. Um… pass the greens, thanks.

    Let's do this:

    • FIRST we uncover the “magic powers” each vegetable has for our bodies & minds
    • SECOND I’ll share my top tips and tricks for introducing & preparing these veggies with kids in mind
    • THIRD we give you access to 3 EPIC EFF APPROVED recipes to explore, for each
