• Episode 17 -The Cleaning Products You Trust Might Be Harming You, Here’s the Truth Women Discovered First
    Feb 19 2026

    Send a text

For years, I truly believed I was the problem. I felt everything too deeply. I was always the first to notice the strong chemical smell in a room, the one who couldn’t ignore the noise, the clutter, the heaviness in the air. I would look around and wonder why no one else seemed bothered. Why was my body reacting when everyone else carried on as normal?

When I was young, I remember not wanting to use the cleaning products my mum gave me. The smell felt sharp in my chest. It made my head ache. But I didn’t have the words for nervous system regulation or indoor air pollution. I just thought I was being difficult. Too sensitive. Too much.

Years later, I realised something powerful: my nervous system wasn’t weak. It was protective. It was responding to environmental load, to toxic cleaning products, to air that didn’t feel safe to breathe. And when I began learning about non-toxic living and the science behind indoor air quality, everything clicked. My body had been warning me all along.

In this episode, I explore the beautiful, quiet history of women who did the same — who trusted their instincts before research confirmed it, who created change from within their homes, who stepped into their role as the CEO of their homes without calling it that. This is about creating a calm home, supporting nervous system regulation, and remembering that one intentional choice at a time is how real change begins.

  • Episode 16 - How Women Quietly Change the World From Home?
    Feb 12 2026

    Send a text

Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the state of the world, climate change, pollution, noise, pressure, and quietly wondered, what difference can I really make?

In this episode of Happy Healthy Homes, we gently reframe that feeling of powerlessness. Because the truth is: you may not control the planet, your city, or your workplace… but you do influence one of the most powerful environments that exists, your home.

I help women create calm spaces that support focus, health, and emotional wellbeing through science-based design, non-toxic choices, and nature connection. And today, we explore how small, conscious household decisions, from natural fabrics to cleaner products- don’t just support your nervous system and your family’s health, they quietly shape communities and even the planet.

    We’ll talk about:

    • Why feeling powerless is often an environmental problem, not a personality flaw
    • How survival mode blocks change, and safety creates leadership
    • The inspiring story of how household shifts helped reduce pollution after the Great Smog
    • Simple, practical swaps you can make today (no renovation, no overwhelm)
    • Why women are powerful system-level leaders, starting at home

This episode isn’t about perfection. It’s about intention. It’s about choosing calm over chaos, health over harsh chemicals, and awareness over automatic habits.

Because when millions of women make small, conscious choices inside their homes, real change happens — quietly, collectively, sustainably.

Remember, it’s not about perfection. It’s about one intentional choice at a time.

In this conversation, Etienny Trindade speaks directly to women who feel overwhelmed and on edge, and are quietly wondering if their home has something to do with it.

We explore how creating calm spaces at home is deeply connected to mental health, emotional regulation, and overall wellbeing. This episode gently reframes overwhelm: not as a personal failure, but as a nervous system responding to an environment that may be asking too much.

Through a science-backed lens, Etienny explains how our environment, design choices, light, materials, and visual noise interact with the nervous system: and why reducing stress at home starts with awareness, not perfection. You’ll hear why non-toxic choices, nature connection, and intentional design can become powerful forms of emotional support for women and families.

  • Mini Episode 1: It’s Not You: It’s Your Home: How Your Space Shapes Your Nervous System
    Jan 22 2026

    Send us a text

Have you ever walked into a space and felt your shoulders drop…
Or the opposite, felt tense, restless, overstimulated, without knowing why?

In this episode of Happy Healthy Homes, I’m unpacking a truth most of us were never taught: your home is not neutral. It’s constantly shaping how you feel, think, rest, and show up, especially for women carrying a lot.

I share how our nervous system is always scanning our environment for safety, and how things we barely notice — light, sound, air, texture — can either support calm and clarity or quietly drain us. This isn’t about being “too sensitive”. It’s about being human.

I also take you into my own story — how my deep sensitivity to spaces led me to architecture, design, and eventually to biophilia: the understanding that we are biologically wired to feel better when we’re connected to nature.

    We explore:
    • Why your home directly impacts your mental health
    • How sensory environments influence emotional safety
    • Simple design shifts that calm the nervous system
    • Why cross-ventilation is one of the most underrated wellbeing tools
    • What companies like Google and Microsoft understand about productivity and space
    • And how small, intentional changes can transform chaos into calm

This episode is for the woman who’s been blaming herself for feeling overwhelmed — when the space around her might be doing more talking than she realises.

You don’t need a perfect home.
    You don’t need a renovation.
You just need awareness… and one gentle shift at a time.

  • Episode 14 - Intention Before Budget: How Clarity Helps You Start Your Renovation
    Jan 19 2026

    Send us a text

You know that moment when you dream about renovating… and then immediately stop yourself because the numbers feel too big, too scary, too unclear?

In this episode of Happy Healthy Homes, I’m inviting you into a gentler way of starting, one that feels grounded, calm, and deeply aligned with who you are now.

As we step into 2026, the year of intention, I’m sharing why the most meaningful home renovations don’t begin with spreadsheets or budgets — they begin with clarity. Clarity about how you want your home to feel. How do you want to live in it. And how your needs have evolved.

After more than 20 years working across design and construction — from family homes to large-scale projects, I’ve seen this pattern again and again: when we start with budget alone, we freeze. When we start with intention, things begin to move.

    We talk about:
    • Why starting with money often keeps us stuck
    • How clarity unlocks momentum in project planning
    • What shows like Grand Designs get right about intention
    • Why exploring ideas doesn’t mean committing
    • How intentional aesthetics create healing, nurturing spaces
    • And how your home can support your personal growth — not just your lifestyle

This episode is for the woman who feels ready for change, but doesn’t want to rush it. The one who knows her home should grow with her — emotionally, practically, and energetically.

If you’ve been dreaming of a renovation, redesign, or simply a more intentional way of living, this conversation will help you breathe, refocus, and take your next step with confidence.

    Because clarity doesn’t pressure you.
    It supports you.

✨ Press play and let this be the moment you stop waiting — and start intentionally.

“If this episode helped you feel clearer, and you’re ready to create a home that truly supports your child’s nervous system, I wrote my book to guide you step-by-step. It’s called Creating Healing Spaces For Children and it’s for mums who want a calming, nurturing home without the overwhelm.
