Tricia and Nigel discuss the nature of our dark side...

Like the cycles of nature and life itself, there is always the dark and the light. And it’s suffice to say that the evolution of our egos, has brought both the dark and light with how we see, what we feel and what we do.

Now more than ever those behaviours and characteristics are being highlighted on the world wide stage. So what do we do with the level of darkness we are now witnessing, which is not only harming ourselves, but harming others and the planet?

Perhaps we’ve arrived at the time in our history, where we are meant to learn how to move with grace through the darkness, so that we can thrive with the light.

But how does that happen, when in so many ways, our patterns are working against it? How do we see the darkness that exists in each of us? How when our autopilot way of life, is stopping us?

Perhaps as we surrender to the judgment of what lies ‘outside’ of us, and take our work to what lies inside of us, we may each contribute in ways, we never thought could be possible.

What are your thoughts on this, and how do you face this topic?

  • Global shocks and self dependence
    Apr 1 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

Tricia and Nigel discuss how we are now witnessing acts that are highlighting how far we have moved from protecting our humanity.

They are recognising it is the time for the world to really decide how to move towards flourishing, despite the many differences that exist.

They see that globalisation of economies relies on everyone and all countries contributing, so how can we move from the old paradigms of greed and power plays?

And how can this happen without fear of being used as ‘pawns in a chess game’ or at risk of losing our basic human rights?

What can we do as individuals and as nations to become part of this important time in our human evolution?

They see it is the time to recognise that each and everyone of us, has something important to share, so instead of the fight, seek to better understand and grow innovative solutions that can steer us to a better future.

There is a way to stand up at this time, and we are seeing glimpses of that happening every day, in examples of leaders and people choosing to improve ways and protect life instead.

If you are wanting to move towards a kinder and more peaceful approach, feel free to contact us.

Tricia and Nigel discuss how uncertainty is ever present, and has always been. They discuss how in the world, change is happening at an even more rapid pace, which is bring more feelings of discomfort and fear.

Uncertainty is a major cause of human stress. People prefer the comfort that comes with familiarity to alleviate anxiety.

By accepting the inevitable nature of change and the uncertainty that comes with it, they see we can lessen the control and be more open to observe what is actually unfolding.

  • Why do we do what we do?

Why do we do what we do?

When you realise that so many voices are embedded in you, usually telling you what to do, you can begin to choose what you do with them. So often we just do because we always have, or it is expected, or we believe it is right, or we may not even notice.

So when we explore a little deeper, we may also see the harm that comes with our auto pilot responses.

When we have not yet arrived at our own choices based on alignment with heart and spirit’s wants, loves, passions and purpose, we may always find ourselves unhappy and searching.

What if this is what our lives are about… becoming our whole and authentic selves? Are you ready to discover?

If you are ready to break some patterns and live life fully, without the attachment of the past, contact us to discuss this RTHB approach and how it can happen.

  • Toxic Relationships
    Aug 12 2025

How often do we find ourselves in relationships that just don’t feel good for us? What can we do when this happens? It might begin with noticing what it is that has you feel that way. Sometimes it can be due to an incompatibility, or it may be something in that relationship has a toxic impact on you. No matter what that is, if you can’t accept it as it is, because of the pain or grief it is causing, then what can you do to change that?

Tricia and Nigel explore the notion bringing honest expression about how you feel and why you feel that way, so as to open up new possibilities in that relationship. By bringing it to the open, be prepared for honest expression in return. You may discover something from this approach that you didn’t realise was affecting the relationship. You then have the choice with what happens next. If there is no willingness to respond with possible changes, it may be that it is necessary to move away so that you don’t remain in an unhealthy environment.

It may be helpful to note that during this time in our history, we are all facing challenges in some way, which is a common for all of us. So perhaps this common can bring out the kindness and compassion that is possible while we take action.

  • The power of accumulation and consistency
    Aug 12 2025

Tricia and Nigel explore the concept of accumulation and how consistency with contributions (whether positive or negative) can have a big impact on outcomes. It is looking at efforts not only over a day, but over the long term. For example the concept of saving money. If on more days you consistently save, you are likely to accumulate extra savings. If on more days you spend more than you save, you are like to accumulate more debt.

The same principle applies to your life in areas that are less visible such as your health and wellbeing. While we may not see the impact of harmful things you do with your heart, mind, body and spirit, the body does keep the score, so in some way, at some time, the effects will be felt or arrive in some way. Unfortunately we do not know the limits, thresholds or tipping points that will break us or affect our ability to function and enjoy our life.

We hope there is something in this that may support you with contributing to your life.

  • Do you Fall for Praise?
    Jul 26 2025

    Send us Fan Mail

Nigel and Tricia chat about the nature of praise, especially when it becomes something you seek more and more of, as a way to feel good about yourself.

They share some of the concerns that chasing or latching on to praise can bring. How in time you expect it and when it doesn't happen, it can lead you to not feeling appreciated.

So why do you need praise anyway?

They offer what to look out for in your own self, so that you keep on your own path towards what matters to you and brings you inner joy and happiness.

They highlight when the need for praise is out of balance, it can lead to actions that have you chasing rather than creating.

If you are looking to break some patterns and live your life fully without needing to meet the expectations of others, contact us to discuss how this can happen.

  • Slashing costs without heart
    Jul 26 2025

    Send us Fan Mail

It seems that many organisations reach out to external companies to slash costs. This becomes an anonymous approach that bypasses real people within the organisation who have much to offer in terms of understanding the operation and purpose.

When done internally, it is possible for people to provide insights and ideas to fine tune systems and create better efficiencies. It can also help remind us of what matters, not only for the survival of the organisation, but for the community in which it serves.

Becoming part of the process with transparency around what is needed and why, while it still may result in job losses, it can feel more inclusive, caring and supportive.

If you are looking to do things differently, speak with Nigel and Tricia about how that can happen or if you have any questions around how to bring about changes.
