• 67: Clarity + Quality Time
    Jan 21 2026

Here's something I've been telling tons of clients lately: if you want clarity on a topic, one of the easiest + simplest first steps you should take is to spend quality time with your topic or problem or question.

In this episode, I talk about what quality time is, what it isn't, and I get practical about how you can, more tactically, have "quality time" with whatever it is that you want clarity about.

This concept might seem small or too simple — but I can guarantee that most of you aren't doing it yet...and would really benefit from trying it.

For additional information, I reference Episode 59: My new favorite practice (that's not journaling) and Episode 62: Journaling for clarity.

  • 66: One More Things (My New Year's Suggestion)
    Jan 7 2026

The new year is upon us — and I'm not really a new year's resolution kind of person.

So today, I want to share one thing that is really top of mind for me, personally, as we enter the new year. This is a simple idea that doesn't require willpower or a full tank of energy.

As we start this new year, and as always, I'm rooting for you.

  • 65: 3 personal examples of Rightness
    Nov 19 2025

As I prepare for my upcoming course, "How To Know What You Want," I have been thinking a lot about how to make decisions, "Rightness," and knowing what you want.

So today, I wanted to talk about these topics from a personal lens.

I share 3 examples of recent decisions that I made that had Rightness to them - and how I came to those decisions. These examples were all different situations (some important, some relatively trivial), I made them in different ways (some quickly, some slowly), and they had different outcomes (including one that went poorly).

Rightness doesn't guarantee that everything goes the way we want. So I want to be authentic + vulnerable + share my takeaways from these experiences.

I reference some tools + models that I teach in the upcoming course "How To Know What You Want." Learn more about the course at https://www.katieseaver.com/course.

  • 64: What "Rightness" is (and what it *isn't*)
    Nov 5 2025

In this episode, I share about what "Rightness" is, and why it matters. Why do we even care about Rightness?

I also talk a bit about what Rightness isn't. Sometimes I think understanding how things don't operate can give us a lot of insight about how to cultivate them.

Ultimately, I think that Rightness is what we're all seeking — with decisions big and small. I hope you'll join me for this important exploration of the topic.

This topic, among others, will be covered in my upcoming course "How To Know What You Want." Learn more about the course at https://www.katieseaver.com/course.

  • 63: All about my new course: "How To Know What You Want"
    Oct 15 2025

For this first time, *ever*, I'm offering a course! The course is called "How To Know What You Want" — and has been over a decade in the making.

In today's podcast, I wanted to tell you all about the course — from me, directly. I'm sharing what we'll cover, who it's for, and all the logistics (when it's happening, when to sign up, price, and more).

This course is *very special* to me — I'll be summarizing everything I've learned from coaching my 1:1 clients, into 5 do-able, learnable steps — to help you:

+ Turn up the volume to your inner knowing (most people can hear it at a "shout," but not at a "whisper")

+ Generate directions (when you have no idea what you want)

+ Make a choice from options (when you're totally turned around)

+ Get more energy (because energy is a big input for this work), and

+ Make sure fearful thoughts don't sabotage the whole thing.

In the first 30 days, you'll have new, more confident insights about any decision with your work, relationships or life — no matter how gnarly or complex.

  • 62: Journaling for clarity
    Aug 20 2025

In this episode, I talk about journaling for clarity - or journaling to figure out what you want or what you think about something.

I discuss the common mistake I see people make + share detailed instructions for this kind of journaling, including 16 prompts you can use. Or you can find them here: https://www.katieseaver.com/best-life-coach-podcast/62

I also share my own history with journaling for clarity + why I find it so valuable.

If you think you don't like journaling, I hope the specifics of this episode help you try it again. Because while journaling isn't for everyone, you might actually end up loving it.

  • 61: "Because I want to" is a reason (and might be the *best* reason)
    Aug 6 2025

I talk to a lot of people who are in the process of figuring out what they want. There's often one thing that I'm listening for — or feeling for — in those conversations, and that is: "because I want to."

So in this episode, I clarify what I mean by this and share why this is helpful + address some of the objections I suspect you're probably already having.

I share a client story and a personal story + end with a mini FAQ where I answer questions like, "what if I can't find my 'because I want to?'"

I hope this episode helps you find clarity if you don't yet have it (or gives you the courage to find your own "because I want to".)

  • 60: "How do I make sure it's not 'Grass Is Greener Syndrome'?" (Q&A)
    Jul 23 2025

Today I am answering a question from a newsletter subscriber.

Alexine asks: How do you check in with yourself before making a major move to check it's not "grass is greener" syndrome?

She shares: "We are looking to do a big move to the UK from Canada, and we do genuinely believe it's the right situation for us and our family. However, how do we check in with ourselves first and make sure we're not "chasing happiness.""

The heart of this question - "how do I make sure this is not just a case of thinking the grass is greener on the other side?" is something that most people contemplating a big life change (or a small one!) worry about.

I share four categories that tend to make my clients afraid of trusting what they want, and then leads them to question if they are experiencing "grass is greener" syndrome.

Hopefully this provides Alexine, and anyone making life decisions, some helpful ways to consider the options for the best outcome.
