Hi Friends! Today's episode is inspired by my own training journey. For the longest time I felt weird whenever someone would refer to me as an “athlete”. Yes I am training for a performance based outcome of a triathlon, but no I did not feel as though I fit in the “bucket”.

Hi friends!

Today I’m sharing 10 signs that show you have grown in the gym (non physically). This episode was inspired by wanting to make a post about gym growth on instagram but couldn't condense it down into JUST 30 seconds or less (ugh attention spans).. Some of the signs on the list may sound like a “no shit” idea, but those are sometimes the things that need to be reiterated the most. I hope you all enjoy!


Here are my 10 signs of gym growth:

1. Following a plan
2. Fueling before and after
3. Knowing your limits and when to reign it in
4. Using the deadlift platform or any equipment that was scary to you
5. Not hitting every muscle group everyday
6. Not working out for 2+ hours and understanding what consistency is
7. Not restricting calories on off days or over exercising to compensate for missed workouts
8. You stopped body checking
9. Sticking to a goal - we don't want goal interference
10. You asked for help

The list could go on!
