Why receive the Holy Spirit? There are indeed many reasons why every Christian should seek to receive the Holy Spirit.

Why should Christians receive the Holy Spirit? I know many Christians believe they already have the Holy Spirit, but most of them are wrong. They are wrong because they have not been correctly taught what it means to receive the Holy Spirit.

There are many reasons why we receive the Holy Spirit. Some of those reasons are very broad and high level reasons, while others are quite personal. This session looks at the broad and highly important reasons why we receive the Holy Spirit, and the next session in this series looks at the personal aspects.

Who can receive the Holy Spirit? And indeed, who is the Holy Spirit? These questions are addressed today in this episode, and the answers may surprise some Christians.

How are we set free from the law? Most Christians recognise that Jesus came to set us free from the law, but how does that occur?

It is important to know and understand the process by which we are set free from the law so that we can hold fast to all that Christ has done and is doing with us in faith. Faith is the key to freedom from the law, but knowing how this occurs and what we must believe is equally important.

Many Christians speak about freedom from law. But they don't often understand why we must be freed from the law. It isn't just something that Christ did for us randomly. We are set free from the law for a very specific and very important reason.

It is part of the requirement to be set free from sin so that we can stand in the presence of God.

As Christians know well, the thing that stands between man and God is sin. And sin is the breaking of the law, because sin is lawlessness as it says in 1 John 3.

So, to effectively and completely remove sin, then we must also be set free from the law.

What is freedom from law? It is something that Christians speak about, but it is evident from their behaviour that many do not understand it. Jesus came to set man free from sin, and scripture tells us that sin is the breaking of the law. So, if we are to be truly set free from sin, we need to also be set free from the law. This episode begins to examine this important teaching in the Bible.

Why do we need freedom from sin? Simply put, it is because sin stands between man and God. If we want to live with God and please Him, then we must be set free from sin. And God wants His people to not be subject to sin. This episode explores and explains this matter in detail.

Jesus came to take away our sins, not just forgive, but completely remove them. And when we are set free from sin, we are no longer sinners. These are not my words, but this is what the scriptures tell us.
