• I'm Not Afraid of the Enemy Anymore! Jesus Has Already Won
    Oct 17 2026

What if we spent less time worrying about what the enemy might do and more time remembering what Jesus has already done?

In this episode of Unfiltered Grace with Shane Forbis, we’re challenging the fear-driven mindset that keeps so many Christians focused on the devil instead of Jesus. People often say the Christian walk is hard, but Proverbs 13:15 reminds us that the way of transgressors is hard. Jesus never promised a life without trouble, but He did declare, “I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

Through the truth of Scripture, we’ll talk about the victory Jesus accomplished through the cross, what it means that the enemy has been defeated, and how we can stand in Christ’s victory without living in constant fear of spiritual warfare.

The enemy is real, but he is not Lord. The battle is real, but Jesus has triumphed. And we don’t have to live in fear of what the enemy might do when our faith is built on what Jesus has already done!

🔥 In this episode, we’ll discuss:

    • Why we need to stop giving the enemy credit for everything.
    • What the Bible says about Satan’s defeat and Christ’s victory.
    • What it means for the enemy to be under our feet.
    • Why following Jesus doesn’t mean living in constant fear.
    • How to stand firm in faith and walk in the freedom of God’s grace.

“My faith is not built around being afraid of what the enemy might do. My faith is built on what Jesus has already done!”

This is Unfiltered Grace — Jesus over religion, grace over condemnation, and freedom over fear.

  • The Body of Moses: Why Were Michael and Satan Arguing Over It?
    Oct 10 2026

There’s a strange passage in the Bible that most Christians have probably read right past.

Jude 9 says that Michael the archangel and Satan disputed over the body of Moses.

    Wait… what?

Why would Michael and Satan be arguing over Moses’ body? What was Satan accusing Moses of? Was this about Moses’ burial? Was there something happening in the spiritual realm that we simply don’t understand? And how does this strange passage connect with Moses appearing with Jesus at the Transfiguration?

In this episode of Unfiltered Grace, Shane Forbis goes down one of the Bible’s strangest rabbit holes and separates what Scripture actually tells us from ancient tradition, scholarly theories, and speculation.

We may not have every answer—and that’s okay.

Because sometimes the Bible gives us enough information to ask a better question.

We’ll explore Jude 9, Deuteronomy 34, the ancient traditions surrounding the death of Moses, the role of Satan as an accuser, Michael’s remarkable response—“The Lord rebuke you”—and what this strange story might actually teach us about authority, humility, judgment, and trusting God when we don’t have all the answers.

This is Bible study without pretending we have everything figured out.

Come down the rabbit hole with me.

    Welcome to Unfiltered Grace.

  • The Danger of Getting Too Close to Sodom
    Oct 9 2026

What happens when you choose what looks good instead of what God has promised?

In Genesis 13, Abram and Lot face a conflict between their herdsmen, and they decide to separate. Abram gives Lot the first choice of the land. Lot looks toward the well-watered plain of the Jordan and chooses what appears to be the better opportunity. But there’s a detail in this story that we cannot afford to overlook.

Lot pitched his tents near Sodom. Before long, we find him living in Sodom.

What started as a decision based on what looked good became a position that placed him in the middle of a corrupt city.

This episode explores how compromise can happen gradually, how the things we pursue can shape our lives, and why we must be careful not to confuse what looks good with what is good for us.

Sometimes the biggest mistakes in life don’t begin with rebellion. They begin with a decision that seems perfectly reasonable.

Are you moving toward something God has called you to leave behind without even realizing it?

Let’s talk about Lot, Abram, Sodom, and the danger of choosing what looks good over what matters most.

  • WHAT IF WE’VE BEEN MISUNDERSTANDING HELL? | What Did Jesus Really Mean?
    Oct 3 2026

What if the way we’ve been taught about hell isn’t the whole story?

Jesus talked about judgment. He talked about consequences. He warned people about what happens when we reject God and choose darkness.

    But here’s the question:

What did Jesus actually mean when He talked about “hell”?

In this episode of Unfiltered Grace, Shane Forbis goes down one of the most fascinating—and controversial—biblical rabbit holes yet.

We’ll look at the Greek words behind the English word “hell,” including Gehenna, Hades, and Tartarus, and examine why they aren’t simply interchangeable.

We’ll explore the Valley of Hinnom, Jesus’ warnings about judgment, the meaning of “eternal punishment,” and the major Christian views surrounding final judgment.

This isn’t an episode about pretending hell isn’t real.

It’s about asking a deeper question:

Are we sure we’ve understood what Jesus was actually saying?

Because faith shouldn’t be afraid of questions.

Truth doesn’t need us to protect it.

So grab your Bible, open your mind, and come down the rabbit hole with me.

  • If Jesus Walked Into Some Churches Today… He Might Get Kicked Out!!!
    Sep 29 2026

What if Jesus walked into your church today?

Not the comfortable Jesus we sometimes create in our heads—but the Jesus we actually see in the Gospels.

The Jesus who said, “Love your enemies.”

The Jesus who said, “Judge not.”

The Jesus who ate with sinners, welcomed outsiders, confronted religious hypocrisy, told His followers to serve instead of seeking status, and called people to forgive, surrender, and follow Him—even when it cost them something.

Some of the things Jesus said might make some modern Christians uncomfortable.

In this episode of Unfiltered Grace with Shane Forbis, we’re taking an honest, hard-hitting look at some of Jesus’ most challenging words and asking a question that may make us uncomfortable:

If Jesus walked into our churches today, would we actually recognize Him?

This isn’t about attacking the church.

It’s about getting past religious traditions, cultural expectations, and our own assumptions long enough to hear what Jesus actually said.

Because sometimes people aren’t rejecting Jesus…

They’re rejecting the version of Jesus they’ve been shown.

If you’ve ever been hurt by religion, struggled with church, questioned Christianity, or simply want to know Jesus beyond the religious noise, this conversation is for you.

    Welcome to Unfiltered Grace.

  • You Don’t Have to Fix Yourself Before You Come to Jesus
    Sep 26 2026

What if you’ve been getting it backwards?

Maybe you’ve been waiting to get your life together before coming back to Jesus. Maybe you think you’re too broken, too sinful, too ashamed, or simply too far gone for God to want you.

But Jesus never said, “Fix yourself and then come to Me.”

    He said, “Come to Me.”

In Episode 5 of Unfiltered Grace with Shane Forbis, we talk about the heart of the Gospel: grace.

Jesus didn’t wait for us to become clean before He came for us. Romans 5:8 says that Christ died for us while we were still sinners.

We’ll talk about the difference between trying to change so God will love you and allowing God’s love to change you. We’ll look at the story of the prodigal son, the way religion can make people feel unworthy, and why walking away from church doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve walked away from Jesus.

If you’ve ever thought, “God wouldn’t want someone like me,” this episode is for you.

    You don’t have to pretend.
You don’t have to clean yourself up.
You don’t have to become somebody else first.

Come as you are. Let grace meet you there.

  • I DON’T WANT TO ESCAPE THE WORLD ANYMORE | Why I Walked Away From Rapture Theology
    Sep 22 2026

What if we’ve become more focused on escaping the world than following Jesus in it?

In this episode of Unfiltered Grace with Shane, I get personal about something I’ve changed my mind about: rapture theology.

I used to see the end times primarily through the lens of getting out of here. But the more I’ve wrestled with Scripture, the more I’ve had to ask a different question:

What did Jesus actually tell us to do while we’re still here?

Jesus didn’t tell His followers to sit around waiting for an escape. He told us to go, make disciples, love people, serve people, care for the broken, and occupy until He comes.

So what if the Christian hope isn’t ultimately about escaping God’s creation?

What if redemption is bigger than evacuation?

What if we’re so focused on asking “When are we leaving?” that we’ve forgotten to ask “What are we supposed to be doing until He comes?”

I don’t expect everyone to agree with me. You don’t have to walk away from rapture theology because I did.

But I do think it’s worth asking the question.

Because I’m not waiting for an escape.

    I’m waiting for a King.

    And until He comes…

    we’ve got work to do.

Welcome to Unfiltered Grace — where we talk about Jesus, grace, faith, and the questions people are sometimes afraid to ask.

  • Why Are Christians So Obsessed With Hell?
    Sep 19 2026

What happens when Christians become more obsessed with hell than they are with Jesus?

In this episode of Unfiltered Grace, Shane Forbis takes an honest look at why hell has become such a dominant part of Christian preaching and conversation. We’ll talk about fear, judgment, grace, the love of Jesus, and what Scripture actually says about the subject.

This isn’t about ignoring difficult passages. It’s about asking whether we’ve sometimes allowed the fear of hell to overshadow the good news of the Gospel.

Grace over religion. Jesus over fear.
