Pinocchio wird wieder einmal von Rumpelstilzchen ausgetrickst, nachdem er ihn um Hilfe gebeten hat. Unser Held hat Coppos Brille zerbrochen und ist besorgt, dass er nicht an einem Schulausflug teilnehmen kann, wenn seine Nase die Wahrheit verrät. Das Problem ist nur, dass stattdessen Luzio für Pinocchios Tat verantwortlich gemacht wird.

Ein Schausteller veranstaltet seinen Karneval in der Nähe des verzauberten Dorfes, während die Bewohner den Collodi-Tag feiern - ein außergewöhnliches Ereignis, bei dem der Goldene Fisch, der Glücksbringer des Dorfes, ausgestellt wird. Pinocchio und Betulla bemerken bald, dass die Dorfbewohner unter einem Zauber zu stehen scheinen.

Pinocchio und seine Freunde treffen einen geheimnisvollen Wahrsager, Luminas, dessen Vorhersagen sich als wahr und unglaublich präzise erweisen. Als er jedoch erklärt, dass Pinocchio verhext ist und eine Katastrophe auf das Dorf zukommt, geraten die Freunde in Panik. Wieder einmal scheint alles für die Vorhersagen des Wahrsagers zu sprechen.

Die Hexe, die wegen Pinocchio versehentlich in eine Fee verwandelt wurde, will unbedingt wieder zu ihrer alten Gestalt zurückkehren. Für jemanden mit einem bösen Ruf wie sie ihn hat ist es unerträglich, eine gute Fee zu sein!
