The Chobe region in the far north east of Botswana is well known for its fascinating nature. Its national park was named after the Chobe River one of the most important tributaries of the Zambesi that leads into the nearby world famous, Victoria Falls. The Chobe River acts as a central gateway to numerous villages as well as to the national park's various safari lodges. Unlike many other countries in Africa, tourism in Botswana attracts a particularly exclusive and well-off clientele. The advantages of this are soon apparent.

Year after year, Namibia's Etosha National Park attracts thousands of visitors. Approximately 22,000 square kilometres in size, Etosha is a special wildlife experience and its magnificent flora is unique among all the other wildlife parks in Africa. It also has the reputation of being one of the major wildlife sanctuaries for a wide variety of Africa's animal species, such as antelope, zebra, springbok, giraffe, lions, gnu, hyenas, gembok, elands and kudus. Apart from the desert-like area of the Etosha Salt Pan, the park consists of Mopani Woodland and Savannah Grassland and also a large number of acacia trees.

The constant volcanic activities offer the opportunity to feel and discover the primal power of the earth. Many trails are available to visitors and friendly rangers are happy to provide information. The different vegetation zones offer nature the opportunity to create their own ecosystems. While the rainforest is lush in the northeast, a savannah-like landscape emerged in the south. The gray, inhospitable zone of the South Rift Zone is in stark contrast.

A varied tour through the Cape Peninsula National Park around the Cape Peninsula along the coast, through fine sand dunes that do not stop at the road. The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve in the south of the Peninsula measures 8,000 hectares and has been part of the national park since 1998. Passing picturesque fishing villages and small towns with nostalgic flair, the journey goes through the wonderful landscape with steeply sloping rocks to the southernmost point. In between, boulders, large chunks of granite break the coastline and form numerous protected small bays and reefs.

Zusammen mit dem Kollegen Porter und seinem Sohn Kenneth bereitet er eine Falle für die Dame vor - die fast ZU gut funktioniert und ihn selbst in akute Lebensgefahr bringt!

Durch ihre empathische Art gelingt es ihr, sich gut in die Anrufer einzufühlen. Aber plötzlich wird Gianna dabei Ohrenzeugin eines Mordes am anderen Ende der Leitung. Der Killer hat Gianna als "Mitspielerin" für seine makabren Taten auserkoren. Er zwingt seine Opfer, bei der Telefonseelsorge anzurufen, und lässt Gianna so an seinen blutigen Morden teilhaben.

Turbine macht Pause. Wieder einmal will General Labienus Lutetia von allem Gallischen befreien. Diesmal stören ihn die vielen streunenden Hunde. Seine Soldaten erhalten den Befehl, sie einzufangen und auf eine Galeere zu bringen. Doch Turbine hat leider einen Unfall und braucht eine Medizin für ihre verletzte Pfote. Natürlich gibt ihr Weissnix zunächst einmal eine falsche: Ein Trank, der einen superschnell macht. Turbine verliert die Flasche mit der Medizin und Zerberus und seine Beagles trinken davon.

Als Beverly sich von ihrer besten Freundin Gemma zu einem Einbruch in der Villa des exzentrischen Antiquitätenhändlers Lawrence Fincher überreden lässt, ahnt sie noch nicht, dass die beiden Freundinnen das Tor zu einer besonders perfiden Hölle aufstoßen werden. Fincher ist nämlich ein Sammler der besonderen Art und wer sein Haus betritt, verlässt es für gewöhnlich nie wieder. Beverlys Vater, Inspektor Norton, begibt sich auf die Suche nach seiner Tochter und folgt der Spur, die unweigerlich ins Grauen führen muss.

Der bekannte Maler Charles Gaunt hat in Whitechapel inkognito Quartier bezogen und porträtiert dort Straßenmädchen für eine Bildserie, die die öffentlichen Gemüter erhitzt. Gaunt wird von den Hütern von Recht und Moral hart angegangen und wenig später stirbt das erste der porträtierten Mädchen auf bestialische Weise. Geoffrey Stafford ermittelt verdeckt inmitten des pulsierenden und mitunter gefährlichen Nachtlebens.

Lutetia II General Labienus hat ein großes Kaufhaus bauen lassen - Lutetia II. Dort sollen von nun an alle Lutetianer die Dinge des täglichen Lebens kaufen. Da die normalen, kleinen Läden dadurch natürlich kaputtgehen würden, sabotieren die Unbeugsamen alle Geschäfte mit Lutetia II und haben Erfolg. Das normale, gemütliche Leben in Lutetia geht weiter. Der Wecker von Lutetia Wie immer weckt der Hahn Sinfonix ganz Paris am Morgen auf. Leider stört das Monalisa, weshalb sie sich wünscht, Sinfonix als Festmahl vorgesetzt zu bekommen.

Inspector Cross und Geoffrey Stafford bekommen es mit einer Serie spektakulärer Überfälle auf Eisenbahnzüge zu tun, die in der Öffentlichkeit für große Unruhe sorgen. Scotland Yard, der Verbrecherbande auf der Spur, will die Täter auf frischer Tat ertappen. Sie ahnen bereits, welcher Zug das nächste Ziel der Räuber sein wird. Was sie nicht wissen: An Bord des Zuges befindet sich auch eine Fracht, die für den Zirkel der Sieben von höchstem Interesse ist.

Auf Einladung des Gartencenterbesitzers Emerson Dale besucht Pater Brown das Sommerfest eines Gartenvereins, auf dem einige Wettbewerbe veranstaltet werden. Doch hinter der freundlichen Fassade wird unter den Vereinsmitgliedern mit harten Bandagen gekämpft. Neben Gerüchten und Verleumdungen kommt es zu einem Anschlag auf die Rosen von James Gabriel, dem Favoriten unter den Blumenzüchtern. Die Reihe der Verdächtigen ist lang. Und noch während Pater Brown erste Ermittlungen anstellt, wer hinter dem Anschlag steckt, geschieht ein brutalen Mord.

Die Gefängnisglocke von Pentonville kündigt den Tod von Doktor Jason Lightman an. Nebel kriecht über den Gefängnishof. Düster und bedrohlich ragt der Galgen aus dem weißen Dunst. Nichts, so scheint es, kann den zu Lebzeiten missverstandenen Forscher jetzt noch retten. Doch James Moriarty fasst den einsamen Entschluss, den Todgeweihten aus dem Gefängnis zu befreien. Doch selbst ein Verbrechergenie wie er ist nicht vor unvorhergesehenen Ereignissen gefeit. Die Befreiungsaktion fordert Menschenleben und schon bald hat Moriarty mehr Feinde, die ihm nach dem Leben trachten, als Vertraute.
