Australian broadcasting legend Bryan Martin OAM has called the Cox Plate 28 times across his career. The race is named in honour of William Samuel (W. S.) Cox, the racing club's founder. First run on Saturday 28 October 1922 with a purse of £1,000, the race is now considered by many to be the best few minutes in world sport. BM speaks to the legends that have elevated the Cox Plate to the standing it holds today.
