Hell. Just do your time, they said. It will be easy, they said. What's a hundred years sentenced to prison in Hell? Well, I can tell you, for an Imp like me, it was a pretty long time. Like most Imps, I am a mischievous sort, and that tends to annoy people, said people like the prison guards. Which meant that my time in Hell had just gotten a lot more complicated. I was about to receive the type of punishment no living soul had ever come back from. Not a single one had ever survived.

I tried to hide from the truth and that didn’t work. I tried to run from him and that definitely didn’t work. What was next for me but to try and work off my punishment? One that ended with me sacrificing my own heart the second his Lost Siren finally walked into his life; the one I found for him. I took this as my cue to leave. My cue to run and never look back. That had been the plan and he made a promise to let me go. A promise he quickly broke.

Writing down your dreams…that sounded pretty harmless right? Turned out, I was sort of good at it. Turned out, it made a good book. Because who knew you could make money from writing about the man of your dreams? Who knew it would pay to fantasize about a fictional character you had fallen in love with. But most of all, who knew that one day, a set of doors would open, and you would find out that he wasn't fictional at all...that he was real.

It started as a HellBeast’s mistake that ended in me making my own. Now I am paying for it; now I am running from it. I am soon to discover how foolish that was, because you can't run from the HellBeast King, not when he still wants you. Not when that King isn’t ready to let you go. So now I am being hunted, and soon he will find me...I know this.

It started the moment I woke up in hospital; I naively believed I would find myself alone. I was wrong, because the HellBeast King wasn’t done with me. Far from it, in fact, as he told me he had made a vow...a vow to keep me safe. But as my fate started to unravel, revealing more and more pieces of him at the core, I couldn’t help but question: was his vow to keep me safe, or was it simply a HellBeast’s fight to keep me?

The day I snuck into the infamous Devil’s Ring Fight Club. I had followed my cousin Amelia, who turned out not to be quite as innocent as I first believed. In fact, it turned out she didn’t live in the same world as I did…Not at all. I knew this the moment I entered his kingdom. My world changed the moment he found me. He gave me a warning that night. He told me if he ever found me again then next time, he wouldn’t be so quick in letting me escape him. His little Red Riding Hood. It was a threat I took seriously as it was only my dreams that took me back to that place.

So, there were many things I could have done differently. I could have gone on a cruise and forgotten about stealing a killer box from a Vampire King. I could have shaved my head and become a Tibetan monk. I could have also lost my virginity to some nice Texas cowboy who wanted to introduce me to his mother. But instead, I went to Germany and ended up fighting Mercenaries. I also fell in love with a Vampire King who claimed me as his. And now I’m in the river and all because I decided not to just stay home and do my laundry. No, instead...I shot a pilot.

Foresight is a great thing. It would have come in handy. Like when I decided to try and steal from an angry Vampire King. Nope, probably wasn’t one of my better ideas. And now he’s decided he’s done waiting, whatever that means. He tells me I have pushed the limits of his patience for the last seven years and now it is time to claim what is rightfully his.

After facing her nightmares head on, Keira soon finds her troubles have only just begun - and if she thought mortals were dangerous then being hunted by the world’s most powerful beings will spin her further into a web of supernatural destruction.

Afterlife, just a place for an unhappy king to call home or soon to become a beacon of hope when a new waitress falls at his feet? The Gothic nightclub is about to welcome a new guest, and this time it is one he can’t control. As for Dominic Draven, the king of all supernatural life, handling just one little mortal named Keira should be no problem for him…right? Wrong! As she is his chosen one, she is not meant to be ruled by a domineering, overbearing, arrogant boss who is determined to keep her at arm’s length.

Once again, the teens were not only faced with a ton of unanswered questions after what had happened down in that cell of death, but on top of all that, they had classes to pass! But this wasn’t the only thing that faced this misfit bunch of teenagers, because they had new powers to control and inner demons to face, a blood oath to figure out, a mechanical bad ass named Gruen out for blood...and oh yeah, a Hell’s Ring to fight. Which meant that their first year at the Afterlife school was going to be interesting all right. In fact, it might just end up being...Hell on Earth!
