Kama Sutra cover art

Kama Sutra

Written by: Nikita Okhade
Narrated by: Upen Chouhan
  • Summary

  • Around 2200 years ago, Vatsyayana wrote the Kama Sutra in Sanskrit and through Sir Richard Francis Burton’s collaborative adaptation of it into English in 1883, it still stands today as world-renowned account of loving and living. It’s more than just a notorious manual. This Hindi translation presents the ancient guide, still relatable in some mays as it may be outdated in others, as a chronicle of the art of pleasure as it relates to the nature of men and women and their lifestyles. Descriptive accounts detail how to maximize efforts to secure the best opportunities for satisfied living through advice on love, courtship, the development of skills, mastering the art of flirting, the power play in marriages, the influence of economics in eroticism, as well as the means of attaining ardor, sustaining desire and those infamous sexual positions.

Read to clear the fake assumptions

Its not about sex, sex n sex. Its about how one could lead a successful life. Its the "Chanakyaniti" of family and social life. It doesn't not target the "sutras" for "kama". Instead it aims to shift your focus from "kama" to "karma" by using effective shortcuts to enjoy "kama" to full extent in a shortest way and then continue to focus on other important things.

Oldest sex education manual not just a sex manual

Must be read by all. First book which democratised sex education for the masses at large.
