Wonderful introduction and background to a world less travel... strongly recommend looking up longer drumming pieces on Pandora for extended travels.

Her voice is so pleasing.
It was so easy for me to get in to this book thanks her Sandra's clear voice.
She has such a wealth of knowledge and experience. I enjoyed the whole experience and look forward to getting more of her audiobooks.

okay for completely new new people
I only needed last two sentences before drumming started. I am just glad it wasn't expensive or too long to get to the part I needed. this is okay for absolutely new new person to this cause a lot of it is common sense.

brief intro to shamanic traditions
very basic view and start into what shamanism is and how to use it. This is almost so basic that if your a beginner with no background this may be confusing or it might not yield much as you don't necessarily understand what to look for since it can be very abstract.

Short but worthwhile.
This is a very brief introduction to Core Shamanism as described by Michael Harner and others. As such the content is a little less than 1.5 hours, however the second chapter is a shamanic drumming track which can be used over and over again for your journeys.

This was a great intro. I thought it was a whole book, but it is literally under one hour. certainly not worth one full credit ($16.95). I did enjoy it. but would have expected more for the price
