Story
A century after it first appeared, Crime and Punishment remains one of the most gripping psychological thrillers. A poverty-stricken young man, seeing his family making sacrifices for him, is faced with an opportunity to solve his financial problems with one simple but horrifying act: the murder of a pawnbroker. She is, he feels, just a parasite on society. But does the end justify the means? Rodion Romanovitch Raskolnikov makes his decision and then has to live with it.

Story
Prince Lyov Nikolayevitch Myshkin is one of the great characters in Russian literature. Is he a saint or just naïve? Is he an idealist or, as many in General Epanchin's society feel, an "idiot"? Certainly his return to St. Petersburg after years in a Swiss clinic has a dramatic effect on the beautiful Aglaia, youngest of the Epanchin daughters, and on the charismatic but willful Nastasya Filippovna. As he paints a vivid picture of Russian society, Dostoyevsky shows how principles conflict with emotions - with tragic results.

Story
Thus Spoke Zarathustra is one of the most extraordinary - and important - texts in Western philosophy. It was written by Friedrich Nietzsche between 1883 and 1885. He cast it in the form of a novel in the hope that his urgent message of the 'death of God' and the rise of the superman (Ubermensch) would have greater emotional as well as intellectual impact.

Story
The most influential work of the entire Spanish literary canon and a founding work of modern Western literature, Don Quixote is also one of the greatest works ever written. Hugely entertaining but also moving at times, this episodic novel is built on the fantasy life of one Alonso Quixano, who lives with his niece and housekeeper in La Mancha. Quixano, obsessed by tales of knight errantry, renames himself ‘Don Quixote’ and with his faithful servant Sancho Panza, goes on a series of quests.

Publisher's Summary
Fyodor Dostoyevsky is a titanic figure among the world's great authors, and The Brothers Karamazov is often hailed as his finest novel. A masterpiece on many levels, it transcends the boundaries of a gripping murder mystery to become a moving account of the battle between love and hate, faith and despair, compassion and cruelty, good and evil.

Amazing!
Amazing book superbly read. One of the best that I have heard in a long time. The book itself needs no review. It is definitely one of the greatest ever written, if not the greatest.

Transcends the depth of human consciousness
Have never read anything more complex but yet so interesting and so satisfying. This book is a hard read, very very hard, however even though it required a lot of effort to plod through it, there was always a sense of inner joy while reading/ listening to it with just made you go through it.
this audible performace is splendid. I have not seen any better narration of any book so far.

Masterpiece of all Dostoevsky's works
Constantine Gregory does it too well. He rekindles Dostoevsky in a new light. I hope to read the trio in more books.

Excellent reading
Perhaps this novel cannot be read in any other way. With all the credit to the classic of all times, the reading style has taken it to a higher level of narrative.

So why is it considered such a great book again?
I wasted 37 hours on this and don’t understand why people were being such snobs about it. I liked Crime and Punishment, but this one is way overrated.
Don’t waste your time. I don’t even feel like wasting another minute writing a long review about it.

Narration is not good
Couldn't't continue beyond a couple of hours, narration is not up to mark. it's a long novel..the publishers should have put more efforts.
Crime and Punishment Audio book was excellent by the way.
