Great

Nobody can judge Dumas Works, he was an Author par excellence, a masterpiece, an inspiration.
And the narrator was most justified in giving true meaning to the classic work, his intonation so pure and crisp, exactly the same what narrator would have spoken . He dictated in such enthusiasm as if he became real voice of the character. Bravo.

The best story I've ever read

This is a suspenseful tale of love, jealousy, revenge, and forgiveness with a surprise twist in the end. I liked it more than the great Hindu epic Mahabharat. It is long but worth every minute you spend reading it. Set in 19th-century France, it also features Napoleon Bonaparte (the "Emperor"). The book's translator has done a phenomenal job of translating it from French to English. The narrator of the audiobook read the dialogues with emotion and correctly pronounced all the French names.

Why don't they write these anymore?

Is it the readers or is it the writers, who have changed?

Another item off my bucket list. Loved it.
Oh Count, wish I had your fortune and your patience but neither your suffering nor your sacrifice.

Amazing

Never knew that I'd listen to a book written in the 18th century and be so touched with the main character of Edmond Dantes. The narrator John Lee has become one of my favourites with the voice modulation and feel that he brings to each word and character.
I'd suggest everyone to please go for it. It's a bit long but you'll not regret the decision.
