I had read Tru Blue which is book 1 in the series some years back, but that book stuck with me because I remember being so melted and loving the characters and now book 2 has equally made me fall for it.
This book follows Gemma's friend Crystal and Bear who's from the Motorcycle Club. Even though his entire family is in the MC but they don't partake in any criminal activities, on the other hand they make it their business to help out anyone who needs it by extending their protection to them.
Bear has been chasing Crystal since forever and he's made his intentions loud and clear of how he only wants crystal but crystal says she's just not interested.
Bear would have taken his clue long back but you can see that crystal might be saying one thing but her eyes say something completely else.
I absolutely loved their flirting, their banter and here I FREAKING LOVED BEAR because even though he does chase crystal yet he's never over bearing or acts like an arrsse even for a sec.
I was really curious about why Crystal was acting like that because you can see that she does like bear but there's something definitely stopping her and that is more than her toxic family.
I can't talk and swoon enough about Bear because that man... That man.... He's the definition of a perfect gentleman and husband material.
The way he understands crystal, takes things slow and every moment, he makes sure that she's OK... And so many moments that man had me melting for him... Ahhh... Bear... 😘😘
Also, the way he stands up for his sister... That man is just something else.
I loved seeing Gemma and truman having their happy life together with little Kennedy and Lincoln.
I heard the audiobook of this one and it has Paul Woodson as the only narrator but I felt like he was Bear for me.
This book will melt you and make you feel oh so much. I'm already excited to listen to Bullet's story next.
